I asked for a 40sq meter slab for my garage to be built on. They didnt follow the plans I gave them so the slab was not only the wrong size but the wrong shape. They didnt bring enough timber to do the form work either and instead used some bricks I had in my yard.
When the slab had dried enough to walk on i realized that not only was it the wrong size/shape it also wasnt even level. I've now got a slab with 50mm deviations over 1m of distance. The legal amount is 10mm.
After calling [redacted name] numerous times and leaving numerous messages with out getting a response I contacted Hipages, who I sourced them through to and lodged a complaint. [redacted name] promptly called me back and came over so I could show him what he needed to fix. He refused to believe that it was a problem and or his fault. After an hour of arguing with him he agreed to fix half of it.
They are now no longer answering there phone and Hipages have blocked them from there site.
I'm now looking at a 2k bill to fix something that should have been done correctly in the first place.
