Had makeup and nails done for my wedding here. The service was absolutely lovely and I had a great time chatting as it was done. Renee did a wonderful job, and I would strongly recommend.

I have used a range of Renee’s services regularly, such as waxing, nails and facial, for approximately 18 months and I have always found her to be very friendly and professional. Renee does an excellent job and continually ensures that the results are to an extremely high standard. Renee is very personable, and her salon is welcoming and easy to find and access.

I have been coming to this home based salon for a few months now for sugaring and I am thoroughly impressed with both the service and results. Thought I should mention this so there's no contention, I am friends with Renee through another friend of mine.

I've been using a Braun Silk-épil 7 epilator on my chest for a few months, but I was getting a lot of regrowth and very quickly (about every three or four days). I'm guessing a lot of the hairs were just being broken by the epilator. I was getting ingrown hairs and pimples and the regrowth was coming back way too fast. My chest didn't look good at all. I spoke to Renee about other waxing options and decided to give 'sugaring' a try. And suffice to say, I'll definitely be going back.

I left it about 10 days after last using the Silk-épil before seeing Renee and it's been about seven days since my appointment. My chest is still mostly hair free, some minor re-growth which Renee expected. I didn't get any additional pimples, ingrown hairs or spotting from the treatment. In fact, even now (a week later), my chest is smoother than it has ever been.

And the actual sugaring experience was very easy and trouble free. Renee advised me what to do (and what not to do) post appointment and set my expectations as to what I should expect and when I would likely need a follow up. The after treatment product she used was amazing; a beautiful, soothing and refreshing lemongrass balm that I loved.

I have been seeing Renee now for 6 years and I couldn't imagine using any other beautician who is as professional and attentive as she is!!! I regularly see Renee for waxing, spray tans, pedicures and facials. I was very impressed with my latest facial and couldn't believe how dewy and bright my skin was after the facial!!!! I've also just started using Pevonia skin care as a result and I'm very excited to see the difference!! I would and have recommend Renee for all treatments. Renee really makes you feel comfortable and provides a relaxing experience!

At 39 weeks pregnant I was extremely nervous about getting a Brazilian wax. Renee made me feel exceptionally comfortable from the moment I walked in. It was by far the best waxing experience I have ever had and was definitely worth the drive from the other side of town. I can't recommend Renee enough and look forward to going back.

I absolutely love the sugaring and cannot recommend it enough. The results it gives are incredible, no ingrown hairs, the hair regrowth is so fair and less painful than waxing.

I was introduced to Rest and Recuperate by a friend for my wedding waxing needs. I had sugaring done on my eyebrows, lip and legs. Ive always been really nervous going to salons and felt like i was being judged but Renee is completely the opposite. She mad me feel really comfortable and did an amazing job aswell. Its so hard to find good beauty therapists and if your looking for someone to take care of your beauty needs and to return to everytime i highly recommend Renee. Im never going anywhere else again!
And if your a waxer give sugaring a go. Alot less painful and you dont walk away feeling sticky and sensitive. I cant wait to go back for more waxing!

Just had another Sugar Wax from Renee. I am feeling great and no where near as sensitive as with normal wax. This was my third time having a Sugar Wax and I am already seeing the difference in my hair growth. Pregnancy massage at its finest! I've had plenty of massages in my life, some for pregnancy and I highly recommend Rest and Recuperate. Renee even has the incredible belly pillow to accomodate later pregnancy women. I wish I could spend more time here, I just don't have enough spa needs! Renee is amazing, and her dedication to your comfort is blindingly apparent. Definitely looking forward to my next appointment!
