Mat was absolutely amazing and professional. I love my kitchen, he changed the whole appearance of it. I am about to get him back to do more work for me. Any phone call or text was answered promptly. I have no complaints about Resurface it. Thank you Mat and Erin. I am a very happy customer.

Mat recently resurfaced a bath and our kitchen benchtop.
What was once a dark looking kitchen, is now bright and light.
The bath surface is smooth and glossy.
Mat was prompt and professional.
I highly recommend Resurface it

Terrible, extremely unprofessional. Our “quick” job was delayed by several weeks, because of every excuse in the book (he cut his finger, his employee was sick, his kids were sick, his equipment was damaged in the rain, he ran out of paint and could only order it from Melbourne, sick again… etc etc). Resurface It is very hard to get hold of and rarely answered the phone or returned calls or emails. When they finally showed up, their standard of work was terrible. They did not properly seal off the kitchen. As a result, paint sprayed all over our timber floors and furniture. We are now involved in a massive insurance claim trying to fix all the damage (over $20,000). They offered to clean the floors, however we did not want to risk them doing more damage given they didn't do a proper job in the kitchen. Sadly the paint on the kitchen cabinets has already started chipping. They even left a white paint handprint on our timber bench! Finally, Resurface It does not hold a QBCC license so it is unlawful to carry out this kind of work in Queensland. They are also refusing to give me details of their insurance and have generally been quite unpleasant to deal with since all the damage came to light. I just wish I had checked all of this earlier.

Dear Greta,
We do not agree with the comments you have made, however you are within your right to an opinion.
Greta, your surface has NOT started chipping.
Greta, you have sent us a message praising the work.
My question is, why would you pay for a product for which you were so unhappy?
The reviews we have on our website are current and truthful.
Further to that we have repeatedly asked you to have your insurance contact us. They have not, which makes me question the legitimacy of your statements.
Your husband was home at the time the kitchen was FULLY masked off. His statement was, and I quote " This looks like a scene out of "breaking bad"".
We do regret that we could not meet your expectations, however as emailed to you on several occasions we are unable to rectify a situation we are not made aware of (until such time as your attempt at your first review).
We are fully insured, and in the process of undertaking a QLD licence. We are legally allowed to complete work up to $3300 until such time as that license in granted.

In response to your comment:
- The surface has started chipping. I have sent you photos and you offered to fix the chips (which are getting worse every week) however we do not want to risk you causing further damage to our home, given what happened last time.
- The insurance company has paid our claim. I can't comment on when they will contact you, that is up to them.
- You were made aware of the damage on the first occasion that you came to our house after we noticed the overspray. Unfortunately because he cancelled so many times this was several days after we first noticed the damage. We did not want to tell you about the damage over the phone in case he never showed up to return our cabinet doors. There were so many cancellations we had no idea whether he would show up or not.
- In terms of payment, to be honest, we did not want to pay you, however, we were concerned that the situation could become hostile when you were in our home and we refused to pay.
- You say the area was fully sealed off - if that is the case, how did paint spray get all over our house and furniture?
- I don't know if you are fully insured as you have refused to provide your insurance details. Because of this we had to claim on our own insurance policy which cost us our excess payment.

Once again you're entitled to your opinion, even though it is not factually correct.
We have that evidence in to and fro email.
I can assure you (after working in the industry) an insurance company will contact a party if there is sufficient evidence of liability.
I do not wish to once again start the "email war" Greta, but we were advised to post our own, albeit brief, version of events.
Thanks again.
