I have been a member since 2005. This used to be a great site. There never seems to be surveys or anyn rewards. I have clicked and submitted yes to ALL WAYS to earn rewards and regularly update my profile - all to no avail. I have sent them emails and never get a response.. I am one point away from a major milestone with them but cannot earn that lone point. the only way to redeem points now is to be sent an e gift card - no more cash out. Their site is outdated and no longer worth interacting with. I am going to take every e gift card I can (about $800) and close the account. A total waste of time. Can't, even earn points in their e bank anymore, no Gold membership either.

this site USED to be great,
I've been a member for many many years, I was with the site when they were called Email Cash.
Now they wont even answer emails, They have changed the rewards system to "gift cards only" and devalued the points system, Even worse, the gift cards they offer are useless to most people. There is no longer an option for cash out, or have a Paypal payment.
I wish i could leave negative stars :(

Rewards Central no longer credits interest from ebank. It seems there isn't any ways to earn points and no one responds to queries. I don't know why the site is still open but I think it's time to delete my a/c. I don't have many points so I won't bother with the class action.

As like most people on this review with Rewards Central. Have been a member for years and went to cash out my money and couldn’t. Firstly asking for ID verification Ike Drivers licence ( which I instantly thought very suspicious) Now after sending numerous emails without a single response!!! Absolutely not on!
Rewards Central have been paid by the company’s that supply all survey for Rewards Central members to take in turn WE as members receive a $ value for completing. Now to me this is STEALING from both parties within the website.
Rewards Central website is still active again which is weird . I have joined a group on FB call
Rewards Central Class Action ….we are looking at taking this further via media outlets PLEASE everyone who had been effected by this join the group.

I had the same story as well. Did you try to call them? Do you know number? Thanks

Very poor. Deteriorated over the years.

Points earnings gone:
* Daily Survey gone
* Emails gone
* Surveys gone
* Shopping gone

How do you earn points now?

Rewards value is disappearing, need more and more points to redeem a set monetary value

Used to be good, not worth it any more. Certainly a lot better sites out there

It seems Rewards Central has closed down. The site isn't working anymore, hasn't been working for a while, there's no more surveys, when you write to someone there's no response. Not sure why they've just decided to give up and leave everybody hanging, with no information and no notice. They should take down the website so people don't get sucked in.

Absolutely useless. Most surveys don't work. If you do manage to complete a survey you get to the end and get Sorry there are no available surveys. NO POINTS. If you contact their support you get NOTHING! No response, no acknowledgement. If you really want to waste your time, banging your head on a brick wall would be less painful than trying to get rewards points from this mob.

I wouldn't recommend this site. They used to be a good site but they have gone down hill. Surveys are rare and most of the time you end you getting screened. I've just spent several hours doing their media survey and was screened when I hit submit. I'm not going to bother trying to lodge an appeal and I certainly won't attempt the media survey on this site again!

I have been apparently hacked as well so they say and lost over 200 dollars gathered over years of membership, there response was its my fault and take the loss. My account email was changed without my knowledge to a gmail account and a fake phone number and 2 times 100 dollar vouchers sent to the bogus account. It made me very sick in the stomach at there inaction which was nil. Totally bogus, question like did you cancel the vouchers to the bogus account what have you done to track the theft with was met no answers from them. They maintain my email account was hacked which it wasn't so there fore they will not re credit my account very disappointing after all these years of membership. I don't know what i can do now to recoup the monies.

I have been a member for about 16 years, and for about ten years I submitted to the guessing game every single day. NEVER ONCE DID I WIN EVEN ONE NUMBER OUT OF SIX GUESSES. It's against the law of logics. I once wrote to them but got what I believe was an automatic reply. AFTER 14-16 YEARS... I'M OUT.

ABM68 27 Dec 2018

I am coming up on 18 years. I am no longer very regular about logging in and playing the guessing game. I have always used the same numbers and have won twice but not in a very long time (although as stated - am very irregular now).

Used to be a great survey web site to earn extra cash..while stitting on the lounge doing surveys. Over the last 6 months or so I rarely get and surveys and when i do i click on them to be informed that the survey is no longer available...or i do 2/3 minutes and then tells me i don’t qualify....i wrote a email to rewards central over a week ago asking for a explanation...And yes you guessed it no response....i have been a gold member for over 10 years and been with rewards central since 2006! So i emailed them again so lets see what happens. Anyone else had these issues?

ABM68 27 Dec 2018

I have not had a survey in years. I am now pretty irregular.

verified email - 11 Feb 2018

have been with rewards central for quite a while and have not received anything from them?i have done some surveys that apparently i do not qualify for?i do not know how you are rewarded,as so far i have got nothing.

verified email - 10 Feb 2018

did not really get anything out of rewards central done surveys etc and some super long surveys that were just draining but i feel like this is a scam-whoever is making huge amount of dollars or rewards?i am not sure.

verified email - 27 Jan 2018

Was always one of the better survey sites but I have found it hasn't been as good lately. The 10 points for emails hasn't been working lately either

ABM68 27 Dec 2018

I am still getting my 10 points when I get emails.

verified email - 08 Jan 2018

Have been doing surveys with them for about a month. Great rewards and also rewarded from the rewards partner businesses

I joined RewardsCentral about a year ago, and it has gone downhill steadily since then. I used to get reward points for surveys, but over the last few months, I've spent 15-20 minutes doing a survey, then find myself screened out towards the end. I've joined online communities through RewardsCentral and not been rewarded as promised, and queries to the service desk have gone unanswered.

I have also noticed an increase in spam emails, which I attribute to my activities on RewardsCentral. For example, I recently did a survey about fashion jewellery, including Pandora, and today received a direct email from Pandora; I have never bought from Pandora or even even visited their site.

I now only use RewardsCentral to get points for online shopping, and even these can take up to two months to be awarded.

3 times I have made claims for purchases through eBay - each time 'your details can't be found on the seller's system'. This time at least they 'exceptionally approved' my claim! But instead of receiving points for a $165 purchase, I receive points for a $0.28 purchase - total = 0 points. Lodged an enquiry two months ago - no response, just like every other time. Thank you very fn much Rewards Central.

margaretp11 12 Dec 2017

Yep - have had similar - re ebay exceptionally approved and others rejected. Also I have mistakenly put paypal id number and because it takes so long to be appreoved/rejected- but the time I realized the mistake its over the time to make another claim! I think thats why they do it.

verified email - 21 May 2017

It's a pity you don't have a zero or negative. This company started off good and has totally gone down the drain. They did not respond to emails until well after my account had been not only hacked but drained of all the $ I had accumulated - makes one incredibly suspicious what else they're doing. Closed the account, not worth the time or effort at all!!!!!

verified email - 03 Jan 2017

Not sure I would recommend just now - I have 5 Claims for 185 points out-standing beyond the "wait 60 days" qualification, and more others waiting for the "60days wait". I have to wonder what is happening at Rewards Central ?
**********************************
Update 27Apr2017
----------------------------
I think RewardsCentral may be having “issues”.
I have not had a link to any Survey since 09 March that has earned me any points.
I have 12 Claims for points un-paid.
I have 5 of those claims that have waited in excess of the 60 days wait-time.
Is the site fading away ?
Regards, Frank

margaretp11 12 Jun 2017

Yes - this has happened to me before and has just again. I made a claim and then 3 months later it was rejected. I checked over and over and then realized I has put paypal transaction number instead of ebay transaction. I tried to correct this but as was over 3 months I could not put in another claim. wrote and explained this and they told me to just make another claim. Doh! Thats exactly what I tried to do! It seem they do it on purpose so you cant correct a mistake. Tried to write again but dont know what happened to that as never got a reply. I am a gold member also and now my membership is up for renewal.

I joined when this site was EmailCash, around 10 years ago. Since then, it has gotten much more difficult to earn any rewards and recently I've been feeling pretty cheated having put in several minutes completing surveys only to be redirected back to the site with a "sorry, there are no surveys for you" message. They take your opinions and give nothing in return - not even a partial credit for the time you've put in. Really dodgy now.

margaretp11 12 Jun 2017

Have had the same happen to me on many occasions. Dont even get the daily clicks anymore.

SusanM24 12 Dec 2017

This has been my experience too I've spent 15-20 minutes doing a survey, then get screened out just towards the end.

verified email - 26 Sep 2015

I joined this site when it was known as email cash and back then it was so much easier to earn rewards points.
there were plenty of surveys, frequent web click points and the ebank interest were much higher than now. it was also more fun and interactive with the forum which they now took away.
the change to rewardscentral made it less easier to earn point. there arent as many surveys as there use to be and there isnt much point of putting your points in the ebank unless you're doing surveys. the main thing i like about this site is the instant cash out which allows you to redeem rewards instantly. it's also trustworthy and safe to use

verified email - 03 Sep 2015

I remember the days of "Emailcash", which is what I had signed up almost a decade ago. The theory was "read emails, get paid". The internet has changed a lot since then, and so has Rewards Central. What used to be lots of small opportunities for engaging with advertisers has become a requirement that you spend money to get money from them.

They do not add "web clicks" every day now, nor do they have "daily surveys". Most surveys I get "screened out" for, if I bother to waste five minutes being "screened out". The only thing that seems to refill is "Offers" where you have to spend money. And Online Shopping, if it even works. I have had several claims illegitimately denied with no satisfactory reason given, some claims amounting to hundreds of dollars.

Now, they've even had the gall to limit the internet you can earn on your earnings. So despite you carefully making enough points to get the highest rate of interest, you can't have that interest, unless you somehow obey their complex system of claims or buying products from offers you may not want anyway.

There have also been reports of people who won money not receiving it for quite some time, so earning "entries to the competition" is not advisable.

Rewards Central went from a legitimate way to make money to a second or third rate website akin to the scammy-type websites I've avoided based in the US. I have gotten actual cash out of them- they do pay out, but there are far better things someone trying to make money off the internet could be doing.

i agree with you on most points you raised and miss it when it was known as emailcash

I have been using rewards central for about 2 years. I attempt all the surveys they send and I did have it linked to the my opinions website too. It took me about 12 months of using this website to earn $100. It takes about 6 weeks to get the money paid into your regular bank account. Now, they have made changes. Firstly, I noticed when using the ebank that they are now restricting how much interest you earn based on how much points you earn. This is a bit unfair as sometimes, you just don't earn points, because you are constantly screened out of surveys etc. Also web clicks are not common, neither are quick surveys. I usually only get one once a month. The surveys can sometimes be annoying, as they usually don't give points when screened out. However, you can be filling out the survey for 10 minutes and then BAM your screened out and get 'competition' entries. Now, they also changed their connection with 'My Opinions' as I could transfer points to reward central and then increase my total points. Now, they have eliminated that feature. I don't have the paid version.

Rewards central is one of the better survey websites. They are constanly sending new long and short surverys to complete and they are easy to follow and answer. The rewards are higher than most survey sites i've used and it's easy to earn enough points to get a giftcard, or to get cash out which they will either send a cheque or transfer money directly to your bank account. I like that unlike most survey sites Giftcards are not your only option and you can get real money from completing surveys.

marym66 01 Apr 2015

I like this too. I find it is always hard to use the egift cards. I have received $100 from rewardscentral by collecting points. It took me a year though.

I've been a member of RewardsCentral for 4 years and love it! It has a great program and I regularly get surveys. This year I paid to upgrade to the Gold membership, main benefits are an increased interest rate in the bank and bonus points for surveys and online shopping. It's definitely worth paying for as it pays of itself within just a few months if you stay committed. They have the option of redeeming points for either gift cards or cash bank deposit. Gift cards are at a lower point price so they are better value for redemption. Awesome site to be a member of, free unless you pay for Gold membership which is $66 for 3 years.

sarahm149 20 Feb 2015

Hi there , I recently also upgrade to gold membership and so far I have received nothing not even a confirmation email for the $66 I paid!
Did you receive your points instantly?
I have email them and no reply , so not happy!

rachele4 21 Feb 2015

It took about 2 weeks from when I paid for my membership to be upgraded (it did say that in the terms and conditions for payment). I'd just be patient, the membership is valid for 3 years from the date it activates, not the date of payment.

Not many surveys as there is to be. But they are a company that always make sure u get ur money, unlike some.

I joined Rewardscentral quite recently but i already love it.
I've been saving points since i started and soon plan to cash out for voucher's.
I suggest you sign up because it's very simple, and you do get the rewards.

They are great, I've been a member for years and have nothing but good things to say about them :)

I have been a member of reward central for many years and always get my vouchers/payouts in the time specified. These days I earn more over time through online shopping then survey opportunities. I mostly find that my shopping earns the credit advertised, but I have had trouble with the odd eBay transaction being missed. This seems to have been okay lately though. They have recently introduced new payout methods that are instant. I have made one of these claims and used it at dominos and woolworths with no problems.

julieb21 11 Nov 2014

Well worth joining, one of my top survey sites.

verified email - 16 Oct 2014

They don't issue a lot of surveys, you have offers to complete for companies to contact you regarding changing services (Internet, loans etc) which you will get points for if you are contacted and change. There is a guessing game that can be played everyday.
I think to get the most out of this site you need to shop online through there reward partners. If you like online shopping then this site rewards you for doing so.
You can have your points transferred from their sister site My Opinions and cash them out which takes 4-8 weeks or they have the instant egift card, which is emailed to you to then be used in stores like Woolworths, jb Hifi, Myer, David jones.
