Had to have garage door motor and springs replaced. We have a big heavy wooden garage door which had the wrong springs installed by the previous installer, this in turn blew the motor out. Rang Andrew who came out the same day, turned up when he said he would, ordered the parts and was very competitive on price to replace both items. Door now working perfectly, despite the door weighing over 150 kgs we can now lift it with one hand! Very reliable, fantastic customer service and great workmanship - would highly recommend.

Fantastic! My garage door motor died, I left a message with Andy and he called back within 15 minutes. He gave me an accurate quote over the phone. I had a day at home coming during the week, so we organised the job for that day, and Andy turned up exactly when he said he would. My door had been weighted incorrectly, which probably contributed to the old motor dying, so he fixed all that up too. Now the operation of the door is silky smooth and much easier to lift manually as well, which should help the new motor last longer than the old one. Andy is a great tradesman who has fantastic customer service and takes pride in doing a proper job. I couldn't be happier, I would recommend River City Doors in a heartbeat.

I spoke with Andrew Mahoney on Sunday after the main support bracket for my B&D rolladoor came away from the wall resulting in the bar with the spring attached bowing and jamming. I rang River City Doors company after ringing two other companies after hours number. There was no answer or recoding on these businesses. Andrew said he wasn't able to come Sunday but would be available mid-morning Monday and would ring first. He rang early Monday and was at my property before 9am. He was honest about his availability. His company gets a huge plus for that together with the fact that he did what he said he would and arrived at a time he indicated. He advised me about the estimated costs before starting. Another plus. We also talked about what the unit generally and he gave specific positive advice. I was concerned that i might be up for a replacement unit. I was very happy the repair price and the timely manner for repair. Andrew was easy to talk to and responded well to my inquiries. Give him a try.
