A family member recently had to face the magistrate's court over a criminal matter. After shopping around for good representation, she became completely disheartened that she would have to either pay a fortune, or be completely judged and have no real defense. Then she met Jarod at Robert Stary. Jarod was very understanding and listened to her side of the story. He very quickly built up a great defense for her, but more than anything, he was compassionate and made her feel like a decent human being again, not like other lawyers she'd been to. My family member had a very complicated matter regarding finances and was in extreme financial hardship when the crime occurred. Jarod was very sympathetic and went out of his was for her. I was extremely happy with the way he conducted our case in court. He ensured that our character references were correct and he explained the court processes, what the magistrate would be like and how it would run. He remained positive and kept my relative feeling as comfortable as she could in that situation. The outcome was good as the defence was strong. I definitely recommend these guys. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for and in these situations, you need to get top quality.
