Owner treats staff terribly and is unapologetically racist, homophobic and hates people in wheelchairs

I regret ever spending money at this store. Also the selection of books is abysmal.

Your comments are spot on.

Enid Blyton, Agatha Christie and Mary Higgins Clark are still good because they could write a good story, not because of what box they ticked. The sooner publishers wake up to what people actually want to read the sooner we don't have to look for secondhand books from the era when people got published because of their talent. I very much doubt many of the books published in this era will still be being sold and read decades into the future.

Owner is white supremacist who also hates people with disabilities and lgbtqi.

See owners comments on her Facebook page. Unbelievable.

Friendly staff however I had to approach them after 10 minutes of not even a good morning. So over priced. I get that you are an independent chain but selling a new release for $45 is robbery compared to the $20-29.99 other independents were selling the book for. Range was terrible. I won't be returning.

All of the staff are so helpful, you can tell they have a love for books. One of the girls took her time to show us books she thought a small noisy person would like, and you could tell she really knew what she was talking about. They have a great range of books and are always willing to order anything in for you.

Approximate cost: $30

I went in looking for a book I heard about on the radio. The staff were able to search for it and order it from the US as it was not available here. I was text messaged the day it came in, great service

This Bookshop has been around forever! It also has everything imaginable! I used to love going in as a child and buying 'classic's such as black beauty, the secret garden all for under $10!! They also have many other types of books including the cassette story books and music cds. Great place to go. The sometimes have Authors come in for book signing. I met Frank McCourt there (Angela's ashes) brilliant place to go

This would have to be a favourite book store of mine. They ask if you need any help and are always willing to drop whatever they are doing to help you.
The books are all really good, and always new, you wont ever find a bad looking book there
