One star is one too many for this pathetic excuse of an establishment. My friend and I visited the rocksia last night for the first time for dinner. Place was busy and we were lucky to find a table, or so we thought. We were eating our below average food when a rude [redacted due to personal identifier] appeared and started yelling at us that we were going to have to move immediately and vacate the area as that area was closed. We asked to finish our half eaten meals but this [redacted - negative personal comment] proceeded to belittle and yell at two women so disgustingly I was so appalled. A kind security guard helped us walk through the place with our plates to a table in the sports bar, where we happened to meet another group of people that had a similar experience.
[redacted - negative personal comment], what a disgrace. Avoid at all costs!

The Rocksia is fantastic for a catch-up with friends or family. They have a wide selection of pub food on the menu, which have good-sized portions and pricing. I found the soft drinks right next to the bistro to be way over-priced, which is something they could improve on. Other than that, I still enjoy coming here.

The chicken schnitzel is what I usually order. I'm always very impressed with the serving size and the quality of the food. Can be a longer than expected wait at times but they do get very busy so fair enough. It's worth checking out if you haven't.

Great food not the best service. Always late and delayed with meals and taking orders. Good vibe plenty to do and a great vip lounge. Recommended.

I have living in Rockdale for a while but went to this hotel for lunch for the first time last week. They server lunch and dinner and I am really impressed by the place. They serve mouth-watering steaks, delicious burgers, schnitzels, pizzas, pastas, kids meals & a selection of desserts. They also have cheap cocktail , shots and other drinks.
We ordered pizza and lamb fillets with cous cous and I was happy with the portion. Service was quick. I was full and the food tasted nice. I will be going there again as it is nice place to have quick lunch or dinner.

Had lunch here today. The green papaya salad with prawns was unusual but amazing! I loved the peanuts and pomegranate in the salad. Price was amazing as I'd expect to pay double what I paid in a restaurant. This is the best pub in Sydney for gormet restaurant quality food at pub prices!

Most of the time you will be very happy with the quality of the food and service at the Rocksia. Great place to go and have dinner at the bistro with well priced drinks. Worth going to eat, relax and enjoy yourself!

I really like going to this local pub and bistro. The bistro is really good, decent and delicious food. I enjoy coming here mid-week and on weekends. Alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced. Parking is not a problem if you get there early.
