I have had the most horrible experience with the company, they are extremely disorganised and use trades that are the cheapest they can get to knock out the job no matter how poor the quality of the install is. Avoid at all costs.
It took 16 months for me to get the product I paid for operating in the manner it should and I had to pay for the trades to complete the job.
They also trade under the name ACA Home Improvements.

Keep any legal letters 'envelopes' with date stamps. They will post you a warning letter then post a threat to send in the solicitors, (because you haven't responded to the first letter) both on the same day! ( (Yes we have proof) Don't even start me on the women in the office!! All this because we chose to allow them into our homes and ordered a product they couldn't supply.

omg to add to their incompetence, they sent an electrician around OVER A YEAR LATER with no appointment and sent him to my neighbors door!!!! What absolute clowns!! I had the job completed by someone else. But rollaway want me to pay for the competition of the job which they never completed. I dont know how this company is still around. Consumer affairs need to shut it down quickly

On December 3rd a guy came out to the house and gave us a quote for one shutter. We gave him a $300 deposit and was told the shutter would be installed in January as it was coming up to Christmas.

By mid January we still hadn't received a call about installation so I rang the 1800 number to find out what the delay was. The woman on the phone said they had an extra long break over Christmas and would be ready soon.

Call again end of January and she tells me they will look in to it and get back to me so I wait for a call but nobody bothers calling back.

A week later I call again and now she tells me this shutter has been a nightmare and should be ready in a week.

Still nothing after a week so I call for the 4th time, once again she will look in to it and call me back but never does.

I call back again a few days later and she tells me the shutter finally arrived from the factory a week ago and I should had received a call to organise installation. She said the guy will call me over the weekend, I wait until Saturday afternoon and call back the 1800 number only to be told by a very rude woman that it's Sunday and they aren't open weekends.

Finally late on Sunday afternoon the guy calls to say he can install the shutter in the morning. He comes out and does a fantastic job installing the shutter but tells us we have to wait to receive a call from the electrician who will come out and finish the job.

A few days later I call the 1800 number to let them know we still haven't heard from the electrician and they said they will look into it. 3 hours later the electrician calls to say they are waiting out the front.

We rush home and they come inside and start drilling 3 huge 10mm holes into the timber panel feature wall. I hand them a box that the installation guy left behind and they say oh no this is a remote, we thought we were installing a different system that has a controller on the wall. That means they put 3 huge holes in the wall for nothing and they offer to cover it with a plastic light switch plate which looks awful but what other choice do we have. He said he can mount the remote control holder to the plate on the wall so it looks like it belongs there but when he opens the controller box there is no holder in there because someone has lost it! Now we have a silly looking plastic box on the wall and can't even attach the remote control to it!

We will never recommend this company to anyone as the whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. Upon further investigation we discovered the factory who makes the shutters is actually located in China (I'm guessing that's why it takes so long) and this company also goes by the name ACA Home Improvements amongst other things. Please do yourself a favour and avoid them like the plauge!!!!

We have just had our plantation shutters installed by this company, we found them really great to deal with and the rep really was great with their advice. We would happily recommend this company,

I received 3 quotes to supply and install plantation shutters in our period home. Of the 3 businesses we chose Rollaway Shutters due to exceptional service we received from Jim. My wife and I found Jim to be very knowledgeable, Jim offered great product knowledge and was able to match the colour of the plantation shutters to the colour scheme in our house. Jim's quote was reasonable, and we were very confident we chose the right business for the job. The lead time from accepting the contract to installation exceeded our expectations, we were informed it would be a 12 week turnaround, however installation occurred within 8 weeks. I have received great service from Jim, Norm and the team back in the office at Rollaway Shutters.

When it came to installation, Norm was fantastic, very flexible and worked around our schedule. The quality of the plantation shutters is excellent and the installation was also very well done. Norm did not leave any mess behind after he finished his work. I would be more than happy to recommend Rollaway Shutters, we are very happy with our purchase, and they look amazing in our house.

I have since been back in contact with Rollaway Shutters to now look at installing a retractable awning in our courtyard.

Thank you Jim, it has been a pleasure purchasing from you.
