Terrible

Still waiting for them to patch up a leak that was not there prior to them doing a complete "roof restoration". Caused ceiling damage. "Roof restoration" only happened 2 years ago. Paid a lot of money for something that caused damage :(

Will take down bad reviews once they properly fix the roof.

I have just had a brand new Colorbond roof put on my house in Clarence Gardens by Roof Plus.
My old tiled roof was leaking and we had repaired it so many times, I knew it had to be replaced.
We got 4 quotes and Roof Plus were the cheapest and had a quick lead time to start our roof.
The tradesmen were lovely and it only took them 5 days to my entire house.Roof Plus have earned a 5 stars review on my experience, very happy !

Roof restoration:

I would like to take the opportunity to express my happiness with both the Roof Plus company as a whole and the job they did restoring my roof. After years of neglect my roof was in a very bad condition and needed attention very badly. Roof Plus not only did an excellent job restoring my roof, changing the colour and mending the cracked and chipped tiles, but made the whole process painless straightforward. From start to finish the managers were accommodating and very informative. The office staff were friendly and helpful, and they managed to find a leak we had for ten years! Thank you for a job well done!
John.

BEWARE!!!

I rang Roof Plus, looking for a quotation for a full roof restoration and gutter replacement. They seemed friendly enough and they booked a time for the following day to quote. The business representative came out and spent a good hour and a half inspecting the roof and discussing the proposed work.

I found it quite uncomfortable when he kept insisting on having their advertising displayed in our frontyard upon the completion of the job. He insisted on coming back when both myself and my wife were available to discuss advertising options. This was not an option as the proposed job was quite urgent and we needed to book it in within the coming days. I was transparent with him, I told him we would be getting one other quote, the following night. So at this point I told the business representative that we would not be interested in advertising their business and that we would simply prefer the quotation at the full (non-discounted) price. He responded by calling his manager and subsequently advising me that he would NOT quote the job. I was shocked that the manager declined to follow through with the quotation after discovering that A) we would not advertise their service, and, B) we were obtaining one other quote. So, essentially I had a Roof Plus business representative in my house for 90 minutes, and didn't receive the intended quote.

At this stage I was extremely frustrated, and due to the fact I could not get an explanation of why they would not provide a quote, I rang the manager at Roof Plus. He rambled something about "new consumer law" and something about how they are not obligated to give free quotes. Well, they didn't convey this information when they accepted to quote. I expressed my displeasure and told them they had wasted my time, to which the manager responded by laughing and saying "we hardly wasted your time, you wasted ours!", and hung up on me. If this is the manner in which they conduct business, they won't last long...

I would STRONGLY urge you to reconsider who you choose to quote any roofing / guttering works. One positive thing from today, it might keep others from making the same mistakes we did. Suffice it to say we didn't actually get to a stage where we could see the quality of workmanship so cannot comment further, other than to say that this company is not professional and lacks integrity!

I was approached by a door knocking sales person who offered free inspection of our roof. I accepted the free inspection offer. On the day, a white collar young guy with strong Scottish/Irish accents came on time, whom doesn’t look like a “roof guy” to me at all. He first promised he will do a free inspection and provide a quote today. Also he will explain to me further how the “front door advertising” will do to reduce the costs. However when he found out that my husband was not home (which I never know that he has to be home for the free inspection) and that he refused to perform the inspection. I was quite upset, reason being;
1. Neither the sales person nor the manager ever told me that my husband “MUST” be home for the inspection or no inspection will be carried out.
2. that I took time (got home early from work) to wait for the door and that he did not appreciate the time I wasted.
3. I also felt that was quite discriminated that he will only do inspection and quote when my husband is around, which indicated that he didn’t think women can make the decision!
