We stayed one night and then another. The front office staff were polite if a little distracted most of the time. The marble, tiling, thick carpets and leather Chesterfields give this club an English style atmosphere. The most impressive views are from the Breakfast Room on level 7 from 7 to 9am. The library stocks daily newspapers and must-reads on all things motoring. The artwork is naturally themed automobile and air travel. We were impressed with the James Bond car parking entrance under the Cahill Express way. The cheery valet was keen to learn about our other car...my husband fibbed and said it was a Lotus Exige S. That got them talking! We noticed the Filipino house maids were early at 6.45am keen to start chatting in the corridor to guests. Perhaps a no-tipping policy by the club might stifle the early morning noise? We loved the club's proximity to the Opera House, Circular Quay and The Rocks precinct. Anyone with business at The Music Conservatory or the Mitchell Library/State Library of NSW has only a five minute uphill walk. This club is near the Justice Museum and Contemporary Art Museum so there's no excuse to stay uncultured in Sydney's CBD. We will stay again and trust one of the smallest double rooms in Sydney with a view of Sydney Harbour Bridge is free again.

We attended a relatives wedding at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia last November and couldn't have been happier with the event result. The location is superb as just by Circular Quay which means we could ferry across and back. There is a small number of undercover parking spots for members of the RACA with valet service included. The lift to the upper floors from the garage was easy to access. The function rooms were well appointed with bathroom facilities on most floors. How nice to have full length mirrors and seating in the amenities rooms!. We thought the food and wine was excellent, the staff service was discrete and punctual.
