Although it is quite sad to see so many animals in pens in any animal shelter, this place does a great job.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and I am told there a many volunteers too.

If you have any spare unwanted linen that would be suitable for pet bedding, this place is always appreciative of your donations.

Rscpa vet clinic has helped us heaps with our pets. They talk to you about every details of whats going on and what can be done. After losing one of our beloved pets they sent us a card, saying sorry for our loss. Very helpful. Yuo can also adopt animals here as well

Just over a week ago, we had to make a painful and inevitable decision of putting our beloved pet Beagle of 13 years down. My beautiful old boy was in a position where he could no longer walk, and to not cause him anymore stress and pain needed, the wonderful vet and his nurse (who I believe was Dr David), euthanised our dog in the comfort of our car where we could hold and talk to him during the procedure.
Being a Sunday morning, the receptionist was also wonderful to give us the first available appointment, which was only a short time from my initial phone call.

The compassion and professionalism shown, was more than what we could have hoped for at this devastating time for us, and the card that my family received a week after his passing came as a great comfort.

I highly recommend the services of the RSPCA in Pearcedale, and greatly thank all of the staff for their kindness.

Approximate cost: $95

I've been using the RSPCA in Pearcedale for many years with my cat and dogs. They are very helpful and full of advice for your beloved pets. It is also more affordable for family's who cant afford going to the independent Vets in other areas. When I was left with no option to take our beloved dog to be surrended (for my children's safety) they were fantastic and I called everyday to see how he was doing with the tests being done to be rehomed even though I didn't like what I heard I knew they were doing what they could for him. Amazing people there who are always will to talk to you

these guys were great when we lost our cat and my heart broken girlfriend was on a mission to find him. they took all our details and any photos we had and made sure they kept them on file to help find him. they showed us through all the animals they had to make sure he was not handed in.

My dog got out and was picked up and taken here. They rang me straight away and because it was late in the afternoon, they said it was fine if we picked him up the next morning. He was happy to see us but liked the attention he was getting from the staff. They also have animals for sale at great prices. This place is out of the way but worth a look if you are wanting a pet. The staff are great. And they also have a pet cemetery. Hmm
