I don't normally write these reviews, but my experience at Rubi has been one to note. I've attended the same stylist for over a decade in America. When I moved here, I asked around for a great salon and multiple friends and coworkers suggested I go to Rubi. Seeing they had a brand new location close to my home, I booked in (only a week in advance) and they fit me right into their schedule. I had Emily and she gave me an amazing full cut and colour and I looked like a "new and improved me" when I walked out. About a week later, I received a phone call from Michelle, the salon owner, asking me how I went. After some evaluation, I had decided to give feedback that I would like my highlights to be a little lighter in colour. Again, they fit me right into their schedule and I was seen the NEXT day. Emily again did my colour and touched up my highlights to the perfect shade. When I went to pay for the second round, they both looked at me with confused faces and simply stated, "Don't be silly, it's on us. We just want you to be happy!" I love these girls and will absolutely 100% be back to Rubi. Thanks Michelle, Emily, and Andrea for fixing me up!!

Best hairdresser in RIchmond!!! :)

Im the sort of guy that usually gets a haircut maybe once or twice a year but after going in and seeing Michelle I left so satisfied with the cut that i'm actually re-booking my next visits before i leave. The salon has a very clean funky vibe to it and Michelle makes you like an old friend. I've recommend Rubi Hair to all the girls at work who have swapped from their current hairdresser and would never go back. I couldn't recommend Rubi Hair Richmond any more highly so do yourself a favour and get yourself a cut. See you next week Michelle!!

Love the vibe in this salon! As I'm new to the area, I walked by this salon and the stylists immediately invited me to come and have a look inside the salon. I ended up booking an appointment with Stephan, and he gave me one of the best colours I have ever had! He suggested we do something new as I was bored with my hair, and everything he said was clearly thought through with careful consideration towards my hair, and the results showed! The consultation was very personalized and Stephan and his assistant Taylor really made me feel at home in the salon. Loved it! Will absolutely be coming back!

Having moved to Melbourne 3 years ago I struggled to find a good hairdresser...that is until I came across Rubi Hair! The wonderful team are so attentive from the moment you arrive, highly qualified and carefully chosen. They certainly do go that extra mile and definitely live up to their reputation of giving you the best salon experience you will ever have. I have been so lucky to find the extremely talented and lovely Michelle. As a blonde I was always so particular about my colour and she never fails to deliver beautiful blonde locks! I have never received so many compliments on how shiny and natural my colour looks and as a result Michelle is constantly busy working her magic on my friends and family too! Its so nice to go to a salon where you feel completely relaxed, confident that you are in the best hands and can finish off your look with a nice glass of vino!
