Was very relaxing, beautiful view and accross the road from river. They have thought of everything! SPA, games room, fireplace, kitchen has everything you would ever need. kids were never bored, they were able to roam between games room/spa/exploring the river and jetty. Best holiday ever, we will be back!

We really loved our stay at Rubicon River Hideaway. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved the outdoor spa - even on a cold winters day! My husband enjoyed mountain bike riding around the area. The river banks were lovely to explore and relax. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

Thank you very much Kylie for your review. We trust you will stay with us again as we continue to grow and develop our business to be the best that it possibly can.

My husband and I just spent the weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. Yes we went to a beach house in the middle of a tassie winter, absolutely atrocious day so we were pleasantly surprised to see Leanne had lit the fire before we arrived and the whole house was toasty warm. The hideaway is a three bedroom home that sleeps 8 ( 1 queen 2 lots of bunks and a sofa bed) fully self contained. The kitchen had everything you needed even a rice cooker and great salad bowls for summer entertaining. And even cake and muffin pans if you had an extended stay and felt like baking ( not sure who would I know I wouldnt). The stand out though is the 6 person hot tub on the verandah, cranked it up to 38 degrees and even on the cold afternoon it was pure bliss and relaxation, later that night after dinner we had another go, the verandah has fairy lights and it was so good to have that light and not a harsh full light.
There is a BBQ if you want to cook that way, the bed was very comfortable with good pillows and fluffy blanket and doona. The hideaway has a very beachy feel with the colour scheme of blue and grey there were fresh flowers in the kitchen and even a Nespresso machine for yummy coffee. Only fault if I had to find one would be towels we had one each which with the hot tub was probably inadequate, although with the fire we could dry them out.
A very pleasant stay (even with the horrid weather) we would like to visit again in the summer and take friends.

In short a wonderful secluded spot for a relaxing break and a soak
Would and will recommend to friends and family

Approximate cost: $150 a night mim 2 nights

Thank you so much Alannah for your encouragement and comprehensive review of our business.. We were thrilled with your response. We have really endeavoured to provide everything we possibly can and are now providing extra towels for the spa as you suggested..thank you
