After ringing several 'boutique' arborists - one didn't even return a call, another took a week to quote and then said it would be some weeks before they could do the job - I was given the SOS number by a neighbour.

Glad I did - Glenn was at our place within an hour to quote, and job was done a few days later. Aside from the tree gone, you wouldn't even know they were there the cleanup was so good! They also took away a fair amount of debris from storm damage the week before. And Emma kept us constantly updated on when the work would happen.

Nice to find a company that clearly values its customers, and doesn't try and 'do them a favour' by squeezing them in amongst larger jobs, only to end up cancelling at the last minute.

I was extremely happy with the work S O S completed on our property. Glenn was quick to come out to the property, offered some great sensible advice and was quick with the quote that explained all the work to be completed. The crew of four attended the property with two weeks of the quote, completed all quoted activities within the day safely and left all agreed wood neat and tidy.

We highly recommend S.O.S. Tree & Stump Removal. We had a really tricky tree on a 45-degree lean that was right beside our fence and was leaning into the neighbours place. So fence, telephone line, water meter all right there - not easy! Glenn was super-prompt to come and give us a quote. He was concerned about the tree and arranged for his team to come that afternoon. Glenn and the team provided a competitive quotation, were helpful and friendly in organising everything, did a safe and thorough job of clearing 6 trees and stumps and cleaned up at the end of the day. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Used to do it - too old now - task too big/too high. Reluctantly sought 'help'. SOS were exceptionally skilled, professional and fair priced. Two large, VERY wide, sweeping eucalypt branches extending across my rear yard, over a big netted vegetable garden,, a glass hot-house and garden under-planting. Their 'climber' was brilliant, and the ground crew cut up every section as it was lowered, left me the firewood, mulched the rest and didn't so much as break a leaf of anything else. GREAT !

We had S.O.S remove two trees and have their stumps removed. Service was excellent from initial quote to completed job. The guys that removed the trees and stumps were very careful and cleaned up afterwards. We were very impressed with the service and have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

I selected this company because the initial quote and meeting with Glenn was very positive and he asked more questions and appeared more interested than two of the other arborists who were just “going through the motions” of quoting.
On the day [Sat. 16.11.19] the guys were punctual, polite and cut everything back as discussed. They cleaned all the leaves and debris away and liaised well with the neighbours.
All up, a very positive experience and I would be more than happy to recommend SOS to anyone.
