You may source a cheaper quotation but beware the industry is riddled with cowboys and you only get what you pay for.

Yeah, Glenn and the boys were really very good. Mine was a tricky job to chop 3m off about 30 trees so I could manage my own hedging. They protected my pool, fences, roof and garden very well. They cleaned up well and communicated all along the way. Very good value.

Highly recommend SOS Tree and Stump Removal. Our tree came down on Sunday morning, they answered my email within the hour. Came the following day to quote and got the job done on the Friday. Nice blokes, great service and brilliant price.

I was blown away with the service I received from SOS Tree and Stump Removal recently. I private messaged an inquiry through FB and was promptly called back a couple of hours later. Glenn has just removed nother huge gum tree, this time complicated by a slope, powerlines, phone lines and close proximity to the house. Very happy with SOS removing two large gum trees overhanding our power, phone lines and neighbour's fence in Glen Waverley. They also removed the two stumps plus two other stumps including one in the backyard that required a small stump muncher to get through our small backyard gate. Emma was very accommodating when I requested removal of an extra stump that was not quoted. SOS were quick, competitively priced, booked within a day. Happy to recommend.

Great, quick service. Fit me in between jobs. Crew arrived on time and was here for less than an hour doing a great job. Also, the price was very good.

Had two cypress trees that were getting out of my control, Discussion with Emma indicated that we lop both and then shape. Smaller one lopped OK but larger one consequently removed. Emma kept us fully informed re the proposed activities, the staff were a pleasure to deal with and were very efficient and the job was completed within two hours and all was tidied up and the price was very acceptable. I am hanging on to their flyer and will not hesitate to recommend their services to others.

Ten out of ten on all counts. We had a personal recommendation that convinced us to contact SOS; this friend is now owed more than a few beers.... we had a dying cypress that was in a difficult location close to the fence with our neighbours and needed care to avoid the power line to our house. And the house... The crew worked efficiently and talked to the neighbours to make sure they were in the loop. The tree disappeared in remarkably short time with minimum disturbance to all concerned.

Ditto a big citrus that had grown too big for the location.

Anyone asking us for a recommendation will hear about SOS in glowing terms -- including the office through whom the job was booked and coordinated.

What can I say... I found S.O.S. from the WOMO site, I read most of the reviews and my mind was made up. I didn’t even seek for additional quotes from other companies. From the first contact I made to S.O.S. back in Aug 2013 to the completion of the work March 2015. Only reason for that time frame is that $$ are required when removing trees. Emma’s excellent office communication was over and above, she managed it all. As my property is a rental I asked if the boys could take some before and after shots OMG what a difference.
Emma assisted with information for council approval, also assisted with the arborist for a report to support the trees removal, as the property is in a Vegetation Protection Overlay area (thanks Knox Council).
I cannot fault the communication & service that S.O.S. provided and I would recommend S.O.S. to anyone wanting trees or stumps removed.

We have had several large trees removed that were very close to our house. S.O.S were incredible, they were quick, efficient, tidy and a pleasure to deal with.
