sawtell hotel is a must go.. your only meters from the beach, great food, good beer, friendly atmosphere and great bands. meals at resturant are pricey but worth every dollar.

nice pub and well positioned. fishtails restaurant attatched with good food. pub gets busy and bar is a little under staffed at times but generally a good place for a drink, feed or punt. has good entertainment often on weekends.
