Great entertainment for the family however I don't think all animals receive the best treatment ever and ever. 8 OF 10.

Sea World is a great experience for young and old alike. The first time we visited Sea World I was really impressed and it was so much fun. This Christmas my family intend going there and I'm sure they too will love it as much as I did. Admission for adults is $80 and for children and pentioners $70.

A great place to take young kids. So many different animals to see and plenty of shows to keep them entertained. They have a variety of rides for the kids which we all enjoyed! Not a lot of shade though, and standing in the lines in summer can get very hot! Wear a hat & plenty of sunscreen. We took our own drink bottles & snacks in! There are no refill taps in the park to refill your water bottles which I found disappointing. Small (600ml) drink bottles are $4 to buy at the cafes. Drinks in general are really overpriced which I again found disappointing - being summer and walking around you need to keep the fluids up. Make sure you get a map & timetable to keep track of the shows you'd like to see. Definitely a great fun family day out!

Amazing! So much to do and see. The Ray pool is great as is going under and seeing the Sharks and where the polar bears live. More gluten free options would be good.

My kids love Sea World. It's the park they always ask to go back to on their extra days. They love the mix of animals and rides. They have some fantastic animal shows and so much to watch and see. Only downside can sometimes be the queues to some of the bigger thrill rides.
Highly recommend everyone to go.

I loved this place,it was a fantastic day out.you really need to make sure you have comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking involved, but worth it.You can purchase your tickets at the gate or go online & buy them, which are cheaper. The animal displays were great & I loved the seal & dolphin shows, very entertaining. Also loved watching the polar bears, they were amazing. Some of the rides have a bit of a wait, but at certain times of the year the crowds aren't as bad.The food was a bit pricey but we took most of our own & then just brought cold drinks throughout the day.The staff were very friendly & I highly recommend anyone to visit here.

Always a Crowd Favourite - We are Especially Lucky to have this in Queensland at our Door Step so to speak, The Shows are Great, I think that the shelters or places for the Animals etc are Housed in are great, whilst they may appear to be a little small, The Cost of the Park Entrance is what you would expect to pay, if you are a small Family, I reckon Buying the Year Pass's they all seem to have these days is the way to go. You would be hard pressed to walk out not have a great day. Its Clean, Its Fresh, and its in a Great Location. Should be on the List of any Holiday Maker intending to stay in the Sunshine State.

Fantastic theme park - best of the bunch if you have small children, as there is plenty of little kids rides and they love the shows.

Plan your day! Shows are all around the park at different times of the day.

I did however feel really sad for the animals in such small enclosures.

Approximate cost: $89 - kids under 2 free.

Of all the theme parks this is my favourite, plenty to do see and a wonderful atmosphere. There are shady places to stop and lots of tropical greenery.

It didn't feel as commercially orientated and I felt the few things we did spend money on were worthwhile. It's a big park and you need to organise your times so you don't miss out on shows.

My grand-daughter like the seals the best and had a photo of a seal kissing her. Too funny.

Dolphins are spectacular.

Recommend going off season or midweek if you like things more quiet. We stayed at the Resort and loved being able to come and go as we pleased as well as taking the monorail home!

Arrived to pretty full carpark. Long line to get to desk to process prepaid tickets. Eventually got into actual complex. Penguins fantastic. Polar Bear very cool. Dinosaur display was very interesting and pretty realistic. Dolphins show pretty good but as expected. Food was expensive and rushed but OK for theme park take away. Overall the pain of entry and crowds are worth it if you have an appropriate aged child in tow. 6 to 12 year olds seem to have a really good time. Younger kids get bored too easily.

There were many different animal enclosures and various show times throughout the day - the only thing was that some of the show times were on the same time as others or were on soon after the others but on the other side of the park so we had to rush.

Feeding the Sting Rays was quite an interesting experience (although it did cost $9 for a cup of sardines and squid to hand feed them). The young kids loved the star fish touching pools and sea urchins along with the underwater viewing area to the tropical fish/shark tanks. The dolphin show was average - I expected more. The seals were entertaining to watch as were the fairy penguins. Unfortunately the whole time we were there the polar bears were hiding out in their caves so we didn't get to see them which was disappointing.

There weren't many rides for younger children to go on.
The food, drinks and gift shop were all very overpriced!

Approximate cost: $80

Went in November 2012 and only one big ride was operational no log ride and no viper and no one mentioned this on the way in. Thank goodness for the water cannons/boats and the seal show was fantastic. But DO watch out for the scammers handing out scratchie tickets, you will win and their act of surprise is fantastic they will then try to get you to make a 90 min appointment to sell you timeshare appartments. Trust me, everyone wins. The guy was telling us that only 5 people a day win, but when we sat and watched what went on, every person wins the three stars. Mostly disappointed with the rides not working, I understand that maintenance has to occur but perhaps they could do this in the winter months and/or at least have a sign out the front or a note on the website to say what is not running.

I've visited sea world maybe 20 times in my lifetime. It's great value in comparison to state show rides ($5-12 each ride). If you purchase a super pass, it works out even greater value. It was a hugely good idea for them to introduce the passes as they have more of a chance to make money in their stores. Families are more willing to buy when it feels as though they are visiting for free all year.
We actually weren't too interested in rides the last time we went (it was too hot) so be paid to go into the hotel pool which has a great kids pool with a huge amount of activities in the water proofed playground. We stayed in the pool by the waterfall and relaxed.

WOW! We went here on my mums birthday, and she went on the Penguin Adventure. She went into the penguin enclosure (got dressed up in artic gear) and petted and played with the penguins. She said that it was amazing, and it came with a professional photo. I also hugged a seal, and got lots of professional photos with him and a stuffed seal toy! The seal and dolphin shows were excellent and entertaining, and CLEVER mostly. The monorail was the only upsetting part of our day - I swear a turtle could crawl faster than that. The rides were very fun (and Im not much of a ride person), and I went on the Jet Ski and Sea Viper! Seeing the poler bear and tigers were also facinating. The atosphere is great, and it is cheap to get into if you get the VIP pass.

What a great day out for the whole family! We have had yearly passes for the last few years and absolutely love it. All ages are catered for as the park is not entirely about rides so it suits all my kids. There is plenty to see and do with shows on around the park all day. The facilities are set out well with food areas spread across the park and it isn't too overly priced although we take some snacks to keep the kids going throughout the day. All the staff are wonderful and cheery and obviously love working there. If an animal encounter is your style be sure to check it out before the day so you can book and see what requirements are to be met. There are quite a few sites selling discounted tickets so do your homework as it can be a bit pricey to get the entire family in on a daily price.

I had a friend, Andrew coming up from sydney for a holiday in QLD. We did sea world, movie world and wet'n'wild all in a few days and they were all brilliant - but sea world's staff were an absolute stand out. Andrew is completely blind - the sea world staff were so wonderful with him, and bent over backwards to make his day better. Absolutely terrific =)

This place is fun but it is getting a bit tired. The part that they have redone in the last few years - the polar bears and shark bay - are fantastic. But the rest of the park really needs the same treatment. Still, it's a great day out. The dolphin and seal shows are always great, skip the water ski show though it's lame.

I visited Seaworld recently and was so mesmerised by the Penguin enclosure, featuring Gentoo penguins on their rocky formations and King Penguins in the pool. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Stingray exhibit and had the elated pleasure of patting them while feeding them (you can buy food for them there).... and not to forget mentioning the interactive dolphin show. You can get Get unlimited entry to Movie World, Sea World & Wet'n'Wild until 30 June 2013 with the new VIP Pass, which is $99.95, so that is great value if you are a local or regular visitor to the Gold Coast.

Always have a great time here. Good rides and attractions. I enjoy the polar bears most but also the penguins. The tickets are a tad expensive though and the food is not that great considering the amount you pay for it but that is the same with any theme park. The dolphin show is still an old favorite which never fails to impress me. Great day out :)
