Sekai is a good cheap spot for some lunch especially if you are at the Footscray market. The gyoza from here and also the tofu are a winner

I loved the pork gyoza dumplings from here and also the tofu is really good too. Super yummy!

My pick here is the Gyoza (pork dumplings). Great value and always yummy. They serve you Japanese tea which is so nice. Also have ordered the tofu here which is nice

Really good food! Great location here, it's right next to Footscray market and really close to the train station. Unfortunately parking can be hard. Service is great and they bring you a pot of Japanese tea with your meal ;-)

I love this place. I always come here when I go to the Footscray market. Their gyoza are delicious and it's around $5.90 for 6 pieces which is great value. I've also had the tofu from here and it was quite nice. There is a large variety of dishes available and it's cheap and quick with friendly service! Would definitely recommend!

A great place for a quick bowl of noodles - not your most authentic japanese but for the price, it's pretty good.

Really yummy Japanese food. Great for a quick takeaway or to sit down and eat. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Mostly things like teriyaki and katsudon etc. I haven't noticed any sushi but don't quote me. They also have a range of Japanese soft drinks in the fridge that are fun to try.
Takeaway comes in a bowl with a lid so you don't even need to serve it up on a plate when you get home!
