Good Chinese food for a good price.
I come here every now and then when I feel like authentic Chinese food.

We were driving back from a weekend at a beachhouse and were too hungry and tired to wait for dinner, so we ate at Shanghai Garden.

There wasn't anything standout about the food, it was all pretty standard, but the food was good, hot, and sated us nicely. I had a nice beef claypot and my boyf had the szechuan beef, which had a good kick.

If you're in the area, this one will hit the spot.

Been going since moving to the area 3 years ago. Was worried when I moved in the area I wouldn't live near anywhere that does more traditional chinese and good Szechuan options. Was glad to see Shanghai Garden does.
In the menu they have your usual 'australian' chinese options at the front then you turn to a dozen or so more pages of traditional stuff, all with pictures.
Quality is consistent and I always enjoy my dish. If there are any specials up on the wall we give them a go and have never been disappointed

I have driven past this restaurant for many years and finally decided to check it out - Very glad I did.
My partner and I enjoyed a mini banquet, courtesy of a Cudo Voucher.
There were prawn crackers to start. Followed by Prawn Toasts, with piping hot chicken and sweetcorn soup.
A limited choice of main meals, as stated on the voucher - we decided on the Mongolian Beef plus the Beef and Cashews, which was served with a plate of fried rice.
Desert was ice cream, with peanuts and topping. Plus we each had a house wine.
The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the service was friendly.
Highly recommend - we will definitely be returning soon - 8.5/10!!

This is our regular chinese take away! We love the Chinese Shallot Pancakes (although they look nothing like a pancake!)
The BBQ Crispy Beef is a wonderful dish.
Service is so-so, could be better.

My husband and I with a few friends tried this restaurant and I believe none of us will be returning, it was quite disappointing. The service was terrible, so slow and our order was wrong, having to send back food wasn't great because we didn't get to eat at the same time, the meals were about average, nothing special. Infact I think I make better chinese than what we had. Overall, a very disappointing experience and will not be returning.

This place is satisfactory. Not the best but not the worst either. I wouldn't dine in here again unless I was in the area.
This is your standard Chinese restaurant quality food that you can get just about anywhere. Service was okay. Some off street parking and a small car park out back. Comparable Chinese dining and prices.

One of the best (in quality and value) Chinese restaurant around the west of the Adelaide. The exceptional Chinese cuisines at very reasonable price. One of the ideal place for take away dinner with phone order.

Nothing bad about this place. But I guess there's nothing exactly good about it either. The food is ok and the service isn't off key either. For the prices they're putting on the menu, it's not a place you'd put out of your head. C'mon, give it a go...

Excellent service and excellent food ! Fresh, crispy and delicious - nothing soggy or sitting around for a long time. We will definitely enjoyed this place
