Shish Mahal Indian Restaurants

After reading the review here, we decided to dine here last week and this place is a delight! Their curries were delicious, esp the classic Butter Chicken! Great Atmosphere and nice service.

This is my favourite Indian Restaurant, if not my overall favourite place to eat. The owner and staff are warm, friendly and always remember yor name. The location is fantastic for a walk along the river before or after and on to the casino... but the best part is of course the food.

I like hot and spicy but the rest of my family don't, and Shish Mahal actually listen when you instruct the waiter/ess on how mild to hot you want your dish. This is, of corse, paramount when dining on Indian food if you ever want a return visit!

We have enjoyed several takeaway meals from this restaurant and they have always been of a very high standard with plenty of taste and fresh ingredients. The menu has a load of options to choose from and various vegetarian options.
The restaurant is nicely presented and always clean. The staff are friendly and always happy to answer any questions you may have with the menu. My husband made the mistake of asking for one dish to be extra hot and his wish was granted. So dont be afraid to ask if you prefer something a little spicier than normal, or visa versa.

We've eaten at Shish Mahal several times now and have always enjoyed the food, especially the butter chicken. The manager even said if we gave enough notice they'd do a Dhansak for my husband (never found one in a Perth restaurant yet). Good food at reasonable prices with friendly efficient service.

We went here for the buffet on a Friday night. The curries were delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and the waiters were courteous and prompt. Really enjoyed my experience.

food is very tasty and nutritious, esp the vegetaraian varieties. the Naan and the curry is wonderful. the people are very friendly. good value for money
