I have been having my hair cut and coloured at Silky Waves for many years now. Not only is Dimitris an exceptional colourist and cutter, Lisa and Renu make the whole experience extremely enjoyable. They really care about their clients and provide good old fashioned customer service, something that's rare to find these days. I would highly recommend this salon to everyone.

I have been going to Silky Wave for many years. Dimitris does the best perms in the Port Melbourne/South Melbourne area. The whole perming process at Silky Waves takes about 2 hours. This is much better than some of the other places in the area I tried before finding Dimitris which took 3 - 4 hours and had inferior results (perms didn't "take" etc). Dimitris also cuts well.

Most recently I had keratin treatment which I am absolutely loving!!! No more frizz :) The hairdressers Lisa and Dimitri are very warm and friendly and I wouldn't change them for the world!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to silky wave for the last 5 years . Although the hair on my head lessens as the years go on , I come out always feeling good in myself . Everything from the complimentary latte , hair wash and scalp massage let alone the haircut make you feel a million bucks !!
The owners are also great community people annually raising money for underprivileged children back in Greece .. Always good to support people that give back to less fortunate than most of us !!
Besides all that .. You get a fantastic cut

I've been coming to Silky Waves for many years and Dimitri always manages to create an amazing look for my dead straight and very fine hair. At the moment I am trying to grow my hair and Dimitri is doing an excellent job of making me look good during that awkward "in-between" period.
