A must visit next time you're in the area. Try some samples at the cellar door or buy a bottle and enjoy in the shaded areas overlooking the vineyard. You'll definitely see a few wallabies skipping past. There's a basic playground for the kids.

They could do with some more shade in the hotter parts of the year, but it's great when it's not busy.

I went with my sister to a day on the green. We got to see Tom Jones perform, and he was really amazing. They get awesome performers to play at these events. The food was also to die for, it was served up by a celebrity chef, and it left me wanting more. I will definitely go again, it's well worth the money.

We got married here all I can say is perfection. There were a few issues with trying to change food a few weeks out, but as we had a signed pre paid contract they happily decided to keep original menu. The food divine, venue glorious - set up a pontoon on lake with red carpets and seating, the barrel room for reception. Wine and drinks package kept guests happy while we had photos at various locations on grounds. Happy experience and reasonably priced. Have since been back for lunch and Sunday afternoon jazz and drinks. Lovely

My partner decided to treat me with lovely lunch as a gift for my name day in Sirromet Restaurant. He was planning to go for dinner, however, they were completely booked out for Friday's and Saturday's evenings.
He has been there a number of times already for that reason had known what to expect. We both dressed smart casual. Our table was booked from 12:30pm and we did not leave until nearly 3pm. Restaurant was about half-occupied.

We were seated in "sunroom" where windows were all around as a result we had beautiful view at winery and rich-green hills.

We shared entree that my partner selected - taste plate - that contained a scallop, asian pickled salad, prawn on coles salad, vegetables in rice paper, falatel-like-looking ball and pork on brown rice. I liked only a half of the dish due to my personal preferences.
It would be a sin if we did not have a glass of wine each to taste. I was tempted to try something I have never tried before but waitress persuaded me to have rather the sort I liked.
As a main dish I had seafood on Spanish style with paella, whereas my partner chose medium rare steak with mashed potato in tart. He said his steak was prepared like medium, not medium rare. I could not remember if he asked waitress for medium rare one while we were ordering. My dish was very nice, prawns very fresh.
After main meal, I had enough. I should have stopped right there. Unfortunately, I let myself tempted to try French crepes...so we ended up sharing dessert. Crepes were decorated with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream blueberries, strawberries and caramelised banana. I loved the dish apart from ice-cream that I would expect to taste more luxurious (question is whether plain vanilla ice-cream can be any luxurious)...and again I was talked into having some drink to it...so had a mug of chai latte.

In overall, we had absolutely outstanding service. The waitress who was serving us the whole time never forgot to stop by to ask whether we needed anything...and if we were happy with food. I cannot remember when last time I was served by such a great waitress...she was very professional, possessed great knowledge of wines and food they offered. At the end she took a photo of us.

If I could, I would post photos of food we had. They present meals very well. It is that sort of dinning when you do not have full plate but you leave restaurant with eyes and belly satisfied nicely (if you do not overeat like myself :( ).
I personally ended up being stuffed. Next time I would definitely skip entree or desert.

Approximate cost: $37-40

We visited this winery for the first time last weekend to join in on the Easter family fun day they organise every year and I have to say I can't believe I haven't been here before. It's so beautiful and serene and I just can't believe a place this pretty has been so close to me for so long. The family fun day was the perfect way to spend Easter but while we were there we explored the restaurants and Cellar Door and were so impressed we will be back there very soon for lunch or dinner. We did some wine tasting while we were there also and the wines were great!

Cant say enough about this place. Have been going for nearly 10 years now and the service, location, food and staff I cant fault. Whether you like a wine or not, its a great place to visit, beautiful location and lovely food. Its a regular thing for our family to take visiting family and friends and they all say the same as we do. Daughter also had her Year 12 Formal there and said the food was beautiful and staff were so nice.
