First and foremost, you are paying for the view here which is spectacular. We had coffee and scones on the weekend which were nice but it's worth it for the view and surrounds. It's just a shame that parking isn't free for customers.

Had scones with cream and jam, and an English tea. All were very nice. Can't complain, but why do we have to pay for parking now. What a bumper, they never used to charge for parking?

My husband and I use to go here all the time when living in Melbourne, we just loved the views. So each time we are visiting family we usually go here for dinner. Always an enjoyable experience, delcious food, fabulous views and excellent staff. Is a bit pricey but for every now and then I think it's worth every cent.

Drove up to Mt Dandenong for once and the view was superb. Air was fresh and scenery was great. However the food at the restaurant was too pricey. All I could afford was a small Caesar chicken wrap and a cup of hot chocolate (total of $10+) because the mains at the restaurant were mostly $22 and above for a simple dish excluding drinks or desserts.

had a bowl of chips and wedges, they were perfectly crispy but a bit too hot, and the sauces exhausted pretty easily so wished they had put more in! the staff were lovely and the view was stunning, the prices were a bit too much though for snacking it was $11 per bowl

Eating at Sky High in the summer is amazing. You enjoy a great meal and then just before desert the sun starts to set and you are greeted with the best view in Melbourne.

Food hear is not bad. I have been to this place many times. I love the pasta on the Entrée. Overall not bad. Views from this place is fantastic. Make sure to visit the place on a clear sky day so you can get the full picture of this amazing view. A must see place for anyone.

Love the view, it is absolutely amazing on a clear day or night.
Hate that you have to pay to get in.
Also it can be quite tough to park sometimes and you can end up quite a walk from the actual restaurant area.
Food was average, nothing special, and considering the price I was disappointed.
Also went to a wedding here recently, and the gardens are beautiful, and so is the reception area. Very spacious too.
Overall, it's more of a tourist attraction then a restaurant now. It's great to visit once, but after that theres no real reason to keep coming back.

Let me start off by saying the views here are AMAZING, the gardens are beautiful and the food is actually reasonably priced. My husband got the sky high burger and was thoroughly satisfied. I unfortunately ordered the special which was sword fish. The fish was cooked beautifully but it was bland with no sauce which made it unpleasant. I requested before my husbands meal had even been put on the table if they could bring me a relish, sauce, whatever they had to pull my meal together. I waited and waited and waited. I asked again and another ten minutes passed while waiter relayed to waiter. When the manager/head waitress/top honcho finally approached to ask what the problem was, my meal was cold. They bought me a relish which was lovely but my fish had sat there for some forty minutes and my husband had dined by himself. I'm hoping this was a once off as I'd really like to return for one of their specialty dining experiences. Hopefully it was just the case of a slack waiter that ignored my request.
