Hired this company a couple of months ago, they were fantastic in shifting my house, Very Professional. Would happily use them again and recommend to friends & family

After hearing some horror stories about other removal companies a good friend recommended Smart Move to me. I was nervous at first but after the first phone call I was convinced I made the right choice. Will was friendly and very helpful over the phone organizing the move. On the day of the move will and Tristan arrived on time and were straight to work. They were fast friendly and efficient. Packed my 3 bedroom house into the truck neatly wrapping all that needed protection . They unpacked just as quick and efficiently as they packed. They even put my bed back together for me! If I ever move again I will give Will a call straight away. They were friendly reliable and great value for money.

Such as breeze going through this company to transport my belongings to my new property. They were quick and took care of my items to ensure no breakages.

I booked Smartmove a month before my intended move, confirmed the Wednesday before the move and had a voicemail from the company confirming the move again the night before I was to relocate.

Then, they didn't bother showing up on the day. Not only that, but they would not answer their main phone number, or the other number I had for the driver, or respond to any text messages. I tried calling about 20 times. 3 hours after they were supposed to be there (4pm on a Saturday by this stage), I managed to book another moving company (Minimovers) who were there within the hour and were very professional.

Smartmove never even bothered to get back in touch with me.

Lesson? DO NOT USE SMARTMOVE.

I have now spoken with John who is the owner of SmartMove
situation which resulted in my above review has been
satisfaction. I am assured the people involved with the
are no longer with the company and based on other friends experiences (who recommended SmartMove to me), I have no reason to think
again to another customer.

I appreciate that John finally got in touch and was willing to listen to my recommendations and has advised that he will ensure customers always have multiple ways to contact the movers so this doesn't happen again.

Two very pleasant and energetic young men came and moved our 2 bedroom flat from Ripponlea to Balaclava. They arrived on time and worked hard and quietly. They made the awful business of moving homes far better than usual (and I've moved dozens of times). Nothing got broken, everything arrived and we had a few laughs along the way. Recommended.
