I would not recommend this business. If you could give 0 points I would.

As a tenant I had them contact me to check the smoke alarm with only 24 hours notice. I was away and obliged by getting my daughter to be at the house (changing her schedule). The time was confirmed by them at a very specific 1.10pm. The time came and went and I tried to contact them via the numbers I had with no success. This is the 2nd time this has occurred (2016 and now 2017).

I have reported them to the agent with all the text message proof including confirmations. So imagine my surprise to receive a call to apologise and tell me it wasn't confirmed (so they lie as well). Made funny by the text message confirming and thanking me.

Make no mistake that I will never ever ever use Smoke Alarms Australia to check my investment property and nor should you.

The positive review before this one also shows up as the same address as the company! That's a warning in itself.

Having an investment property we engaged Smoke Alarms Australia to check the smoke detectors in our property and make sure they were up to standard and placed in the correct places. We were very happy with their service last year and are now making it an annual event. Their advice is excellent without being pushy to install unnecessary alarms and they make sure everything is working properly. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, especially with a rental property. A Certificate of Compliance is provided which is necessary for insurance purposes.
