I would highly recommend SOUTHPAWS MOORABBIN. The beautiful,hardworking team saved our baby BUZZO. He started vomiting on Saturday morning and we were unable to get the appointment with his regular vet, we only got appointment at STUD ROAD VET DANDENONG NORTH, the vet there just gave him an injection to stop his vomitings , didn't examine him properly and sent us home to wait till monday n he ll be fine. We brought him back home, we felt like he was going downhill . We noticed his abdomen looked distended and the next we got an appointment with his regular vet and within seconds Dr. Rohan told us that it's am emergency and he referred us to SOUTHPAWS coz it was weekend and he didn't have staff with him on that day. Without a second thought we rushed to SOUTHPAWS and got to know that our baby needs an urgent surgery Exploratory Laparotomy to remove the foreign particle out. We trusted the team n had faith in God that our baby is in safe hands. It was a successful surgery coz of the hardwork of the team and today our baby got discharged and is with us now️.
Another thing i would like to mention is that, as the surgery was done in the evening so it was not a good idea to meet him at night as suggested by the team so v met him the next morning but as per request they sent us the pictures of our fighter.

I would not recommend this business at all. Poor and contradictory communication. Staff were rude and dismissive. When I questioned what medication my dog was receiving I was asked by Dr Priscilla in a very disrespectful manner if I had a medical background and if knowing the names of the medication my dog was being given would help me to understand! $5000 for a two night stay after which my dog was grudgingly returned to me still with the pebble in it’s stomach that I had taken her there to have removed.
