In my opinion every home should have one, I bought 1each for my 4 of 6 children, my filter is covered with tan coloured mud every 4 weeks, I simply remove it and scrub it under the tap with a soft brush and replace it. My doctor told me in 1971 not to use the water without boiling it. We have a multi million dollar council filtration system put in just 2 years ago. Cannot imagine what the local water would be like. They pump water from the river to the dam and it is putrid, I decided that I would invest in my children's and grand children's health and buy them one each instead of giving birthday and Christmas presents, Best thing I ever did. They are amazed at the water quality and they now know they are drinking clean water, that not only looks clean but is clean. You replace the filter every 12 months and its amazing. I tell everyone I meet to get one. You only have to pay for it once. The service is excellent and I can't fault the quality and value of the product. Do yourself and your family a favour and get youself one. You will be glad you did.
