Southern Cross Truck Rentals ARE THE BIGGEST RIP-OFF. If the smalls mark is found on a car they will charge an excess of $10,000,...that's right $10,000. And they will look for any excuse not to refund your deposit,....essentially you'll never get a deposit back back from them.

saw online they had a mid-week deal for $125 Mon-Fri , figured its because most people move on the weekend, submitted a quote for a small moving truck, got a confirmation email back when i just wanted a quote and it was $450+, it ended up being $125 per day... the emails from the management were short and not so sweet after i questioned the price, ended up going to elsewhere and got one a LOT CHEAPER... shop around

We moved house with Southern Cross and they were amazing from the office staff emailing quotes, to the young man manning the yard.
We moved on a Saturday had the truck back by Sunday, no hassles, no dramas they made it such a great experience ( and for anyone who has moved house its a crazy time)
So I thank them all and highly recommend anyone who is in need of a truck.

I have to give it 5 stars as it is so cheap. I hired a 2/3 Tonne for a client to move him from Campbelltown to Minto. It had a tail lift at the back which was great for white goods and was ready to drive. I had it from 10am to 5pm and it cost $91.57. Bargain I thought. Id recommend to anyone. The office is pretty small though and I had to wait a bit but it was worth it!PS you have to give a deposit of 500 bux but you get it back.
