An alright place to eat on the edge of ANU campus. They have yum cha, which is nice. But a lot of the stuff there can be very bland and tasteless. The sichuan food is very spicy though and can be very tasty. Easy to have group dinners there and it has a nice, Chinese atmosphere.

The food at spicy ginger is not that great and it's quite pricey. The fried rice we ordered was really bland. The staff was not very responsive, we waited quite awhile before we could place our orders. The whole experience was quite disappointing.

Some Sichun dishes are really hot and juicy. We often order n-1 dishes for n people as we could not finish them. A bad thing is really hard to order a dish for a kid, if he could not tolerate spicy food.

A beforehand booking will be better in order to avoid disapoitment.

So I am not sure why I could not pay by Credit card for my first dinner there.
