Would HIGHLY recommend Steve Sorensen Mechanical to anyone!!! After being with my mechanic for over 4yrs, I wasnt happy with their last service done on my vehicle. A friend recommended Steve Sorensen, said they were fantastic. And they say first impressions are everything right?? I was greeted with a lovely warm welcome, told exactly what was happening with my vehicle & how long the job should take & the cost of it all. Being that I am a female driver who has no knowledge what so ever about cars & the mechanical side of things I am always weary of dodgy mechanics, who think they can put one over me.....because of this. Steve has restored my faith in mechanics, not only are you treated kindly, they also have the mechanic who works on your vehicle explain to you what was done, what needs doing etc etc....Steven Sorensen will be my new mechanic :)

My hope is that this will be posted by the womo staff despite the fact that I did not pay for what I received from Steve. I have posted this as a way of returning the gesture of goodwill extended to me by Steve.
Being a bit desperate and cheeky I dropped in right before closing time with my faulty car hoping that Steve might help me out. I previously made a booking to get the problem fixed but I would have to wait much longer than I had hoped. (About a week and a half, probably due to the fact that Steve has a reputation for excellent work. He was recommended to me by my father.) Out of pity for me in my situation he recommended a course of action that might fix the problem. With some perseverance I was able to fix my car using Steve's advice and although I didn't pay for the end result. I would like to commend Steve and Robyn on their generosity and good will to me in my moment of desperation and I am very grateful to them both. In finishing, the thing that I stuck with me about Steve and Robyn is their caring attitudes and personal integrity.

I was informed about my truck from head to toe. I was given a low down from most important to least important parts that needed attention. User friendly information from Robyn after Steve told me what the problems were. I was impressed how Robyn got all that info & was able to relay the diagnosis & then simplify in writing. Impressive how she wasn't just the "receptionist answering the phone & we'll get back to you attitude". Positive communication skills aiming to inform & adjust dates & times to suit. Great team effort! Thank you very much!

I have taken my car to Steve's Workshop for about 15 years. During this time Steve has performed a number of small and big services and repairs on my Mitsubishi Star wagon. Just recently he put a rear axle in to the car. Because a part dit not arrive before the weekend he paid for a hired car. I was very pleased as I had to go to the Hospital for treatment three times. Steve's wife Robyn who does the front desk is always very friendly and helpful. Because of they very good work ethics and extensive knowledge in mechanics I have no hesitation to recommend Steve's workshop.
