This was quite an interesting meal. It's a very innovative way of making sushi, food was much better than I expected! I'm definitely coming here again in the future.

Always fresh and delicious! Authentic Japanese. My favourite is the soft shell crab, ebi mayo and spicy salmon. If you like it abit spicy, ask them to put their spicy sauce to your order (40c extra I think). The chicken karage is also nice.
It feels like a small japanese restaurant. Small neat and tidy.

Sushi in the from of a burger. Interesting concept and taste good as well (soft shell crab is usually the thing for me but do try the other good ones). Together with decent ramen and curry, it would make a good meal together

Try the soft-shelled crab sushi burger with a crab cream croquette on the side - so good! Come early though, as they tend to sell out of the soft-shelled crab. The bento packs are good value and super filling. If you have room for dessert, the ichigo daikufu (strawberry mochi) is delicious.

Oh gosh there is a reason why the queue for takeaway is out the door for this place. It is fresh, good value and such a refreshing change from stale factory made sushi rolls. Had a bento box with sushi burger set and added $1 extra for soft shell crab in my burger. So filling and the best food. Great place to go for lunch.

I came across this place and found the name intriguing .... so I called in to grab something to go as I was in a hurry as I was doing a few errands.

i ordered a bento box of fish fillet which was lovely and very tasty.

I wish i had more time to read the menu better as there were more interesting meal options ... oh well next time, i will definitely be back.

Agree with the below reviews. Definitely a place to try! My personal favourite is the cooked tuna, which has a really nice soy/mayo sauce in it. Unfortunately their opening hours are a little limited during the day. Only 12-2:30pm for lunch. But they reopen at 5:30 for dinner.

More people need to know about this place.

This is authentic, Japanese cuisine that is the best tasting in Melbourne CBD. Big claim? Yes I know, but all you have to do is try the sushi burgers and you will be sold.

The "bread" in the burger is substituted for rice and I am a consistent fan of the aburi salmon (flame seared). Slightly smokey/charred flavour with the absolutely scrumptious soy-based sauce -- OMG !! There is plenty of cooked fillings too!

The prices are not dirt cheap but expect good quality sushi burgers. Must also try the green tea or black sesame smoothies. They take a while to make but worth the wait if you have time. Other items on the menu are ok but hey... I'm here for the burgers!

They also have lunch sets where you can choose a burger with salad / noodle / mini donburi etc...

I actually think 1 burger is not enough food as a meal so I recommend getting a set menu or dessert. These delicious mochi (balls made from rice flour filled with various flavours such as green tea, strawberry, red bean etc..) are good.

They have a $12 minimum spend policy if dining in. But if you have a normal appetite, you will easily hit the minimum spend.

Run by Japanese - authentic Japanese food, staff are nice and always smiling and helpful.

Another highly recommended (because I love eating out and I want to promote good food!)

This place is amazing! I would have missed this tiny store on Exhibition Street had its food display not caught my eye - they were sushi rolls in the shape of burgers. My partner and I went in to try and they tasted as good as they looked, mainly it was the novelty and presentation of the dish, but I continue to recommend this little place to all my friends who visit Melbourne. Just remember it is not open on Mondays.
