I stayed at the Swissotel for 4 nights in July. The prices are great value for what you get in Sydney. The service was satisfactory although I did have to chase up my free cocktail voucher that came with my room. Room service was good and quick. The high tea in the bar was good also. The room was large and spacious and well maintained. It's in a great location near the Mall and the QVB. It was a pleasant stay.

I stayed in the Swiss for 3 weeks whilst on business in Sydney, and by the 2nd night, the staff had become like family.
No request was too big or small. I asked for some boot polish, they polished my shoes. Asked where are post office was, they mailed and added stamps to my envelopes.
I stayed in room 811, a wonderfuld corner room with views of the City, and even a little of the bay. Housekeeping were always very thorough, and room service was not only affordable, but filling and prompt.
Pool area was clean, Gym always tidy and rarely more than a couple of other guests in it, and again, the staff were great. Especially Chris on the desk upstairs.
Only small issue, the buffet breakfast food was usually quite cold, especially the bacon. Apart from that, would go back in a second if needed.
