I visited 2 weeks ago- and didn't expect to have so much fun! I usually swim in the lanes when I go to the pool, but went on a Friday evening at 7:30pm and stayed till closing time, 9pm. Instead of going to the lane pool, I stayed in the children's pool, which was 1.2m. There were plenty of other adults around. It's warmer than the lap pool and has 2 huge "showers" where the water beats down and gives a wonderful massage on your back. As the previous reviewer mentioned, there are also water "river" which propels you in a circular motion, plus water slides and giant water buckets overhead. There are a few small spas, which is wonderfully warm. Adult entry fee is $7, but pay $8 more and you also get access to the steam room and sauna. Best to avoid school holidays and weekends, if you want to enjoy some fun without the crowds. Facility is spacious and clean. Lockers are $2, operated by a coin and non-refundable. Parking is free, if you show your swimming entry receipt. A good place for children and adults alike!

I regularly come here as well as going to other venues in Sydney. I have found Homebush pool to be the best I have been to.
There is a diving area however it's not available to the public. Only for those who are with a qualified diving coach.
There is a large competition pool mostly used for school swimming competitions for one school to multiple schools competing together.

For the general public:
A main pool for the public to access. It has a few swimming lanes in one half and an open swimming area of the other half.
Four spas for anyone to access and other ones for members. A sauna and steam room.
A water playground for children and families, kids would love it!
A rapid river ride that is basically an area of water that makes the water move in a circular motion.
There are programs and activities available, and much more things there which are too many to list.
I use the rapid river pool, the spas, the change rooms and eat in the cafe upstairs.
The pools are clean, there are staff designated to watch swimmers. The spas give people the chance to use for themselves or to share with others.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The change rooms are large, almost dry (floor is just a tiny bit wet but dry in various places) There are a few toilets and 2 showers in the women's change room.
The cafe area is good, a decent range of options of what to eat and drink. Plenty of tables with seats and an area with lounges near a television.
Oh, and parking area is big but sometimes you need to search for a spot. Most times there is parking close to the entrance if you look for it. Again as most reviews, it all depends on the time of day you are there and if there is school holidays or something on.

I've been here on numerous occations, at swimming carnivals as well as for leisure activities. The staff are very friendly, and the pools are a safe environment for everyone.

An Amazing aquatic centre which is well maintained and staffed. You always feel safe and it is so easy to enjoy the amazing facilities the centre offers.

I always love going to Sydney Olympic park aquatic centre on a hot day. It can get a bit crowed but its still a lot of fun to go for a swim. They have a water side, whirl pool and lots more.

I love going there too. I really enjoy it when it is crowded. I go with my friends there and have such a fun time.

Probably best to go on a weekday morning to avoid the after school swimming lessons.

i always love going to the Olympic park to swim. its always fun, but is a bit crowded sometimes. The variety there is great, with a children's area, a hydro slide and even an area where the water helps you flow! Its always fun to go there with my friends and family and i always have a blast. I advise any one else wondering to go and have a try!

We went here for a family outing in the school holidays. Definitely a bit crowded but the weather was gorgeous and facilities excellent. Great area for a picnic lunch.

My grand daughter loves it here, actually so do all my 8 grand children (all under the ages of 11). They have that huge bucket area that is perfect for children. My 4 year old grand daughter can spend hours in that area. The downfall is that it does get very very crowded especially during school holidays and small children have to be carefully watched. There is also plenty of parking spots available. There is also an eating area which is always handy if hungry

Approximate cost: $15.00

Parking can be validated for 2 hrs so that was a saving. Loved the kids activities but very crowded. Beautiful surrounding gardens for picnicking in. The lockers are really annoying - one use $2 which means if you open it to get something out that's another $2. And a battle to find empty ones.

Approximate cost: $25 for a family of 4-5
