My puppies stayed for the first time over the last weekend, and the staff told me they thoroughly enjoyed themselves! They had lots of fun with the staff and other pups and I was able to see pictures of them on Facebook regularly.

The resort was very clean, large and very comfortable - the staff were friendly and accomodating, professionally dressed and lovely to talk to. They put me at ease from the first moment I walked in the door.

I was able to book very easily, and amend the booking as needed. I was also able to add an extra day/night at the last minute due to an emergency and even had my puppies brought home by shuttle as I could not pick them up, again at short notice.
The online booking system is wonderful and easy to use, allowing for any changes, notes or services to be added and even for ease of payment. I was able to upload information, pictures, vet and vaccination information and so much more. It was very convenient and fast and everything was there at my fingertips, if I needed to access it.

The overall experience was easy, professional and enjoyable. The staff contacted me via email and sms as needed, and responded very quickly to my requests.

I felt very secure leaving my dogs there, knowing they were going to be very well looked after. I was even able to book additional services such as Bath/grooming, which is very handy.

My pups came home thoroughly exhausted from all the fun they had! I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for pet boarding, whether short or long term.

We take our dogs regularly to Sydney Pet resort and have always been impressed! This week they have been amazingly supportive- they took our dogs in at no cost to us while we have been dealing with our home in Windsor flooding. One less worry for us during a very stressful time. Thanks so much!

The Sydney Pet resort has always taken excellent care of both our cat and dog every time we go away. I couldn't recommend the team their more highly, they take care of them as if they were their own. The shuttle service for pick up and drop off is also a huge advantage if you live in the inner city. Thank you always.

I live in Colo and am a volunteer firefighter. my family had evacuated from the 180,000 hectare gospers mountain bushfire and while I was working 12 hour shifts on the fire ground my biggest stress was knowing my dog was at home alone unprotected. Sydney Pet Resort were very very understanding and offered to look after him so I could continue to drive that red truck. he stayed there for 5 days and I am extremely gratefull for their generosity. When I picked him up, he was so excited, happy and had been washed. thank you so much for making a stressful time less stressful!

My boys (fur babies) are my family so of course I was anxious leaving them somewhere while I galavanted on a holiday. When I visited the facility, the staff were professional, welcoming, could answer all my questions and quelled any fears that had remained. I loved that there were different options of boarding and extras and the best thing? They could run FREE!!
The set up is fantastic and show how well the staff/owners know about pets, behaviour and care. You can see they care about their charges and receiving updates and pics while I was away was a Godsend! The boys were healthy and sooo happy, I should book another holiday!

I highly recommend Sydney Pet Resort, the facilities are outstanding, the staff are friendly & professional & they provide a wonderful service which I can rely on when I go away.

Staff unprofessional and RUDE!
Lack of communication internally and externally.
Lied to my face when asked questions.
My dog got kennel cough while there.When I picked up my dog after 3 days of boarding, she was sick! She was throwing up and had diarrhea. I had to take her to the vet.
Been ripped off with additional charges.
Her blanked got replaced and I was promised that it will be returned to me. After 5 days, they never even bothered to call me to get this sorted. I had to ring them.
If you love your dog, please dont take them there. You will highly regret it.

Hi Mariette, Thanks for taking the time to write a review for our business, were sorry to hear your experience with us was negative. Milah was a pleasure to mind and had a lovely time with us as you saw from the photos & videos we sent you & put on our Facebook page.
We would have been really grateful if you read the information that was on our website, online booking system & in the 2 boarding confirmation emails that were sent to you prior to check in as we feel a lot of your questions & concerns would have been addressed prior to Milahs stay. The additional charges you mention totalled $6 for additional meals that you requested but didnt select when booking online yourself. The prices are listed on our website & also in our online database. We offered to waive the $6 when this upset you so much on arrival.
Were sorry to hear Milah came down with kennel cough, we are very upfront with all clients about kennel cough & it does go through kennels, vet clinics etc from time to time, just like when someone has a cold at work and passes it around to other staff. Unfortunately a dog brought it into our facility & despite our thorough decontamination procedures on a daily basis with veterinary grade products, some dogs do still contract it despite being healthy & vaccinated. We do mention this multiple times in our written information that we sent you including a check box (that you ticked) in our terms at conditions at time of booking to please understand that a healthy, vaccinated dog can still contract kennel cough. As the business owner, it is a very frustrating situation for me to be in if a dog brings in an infection or virus, the last thing we want is for a dog to become ill during or after their holiday or pass it on to our other guests. We conduct thorough, documented nose to tail health checks on every dog on arrival & departure including 20 photos so we can examine the health condition of each dog prior to their stay.
You threatened to sue our business when you arrived at check in before we even had Milah in our care, you started at least 10 sentences with I demand & you brought one of my staff to tears by the way she was spoken to. We hope you can find somewhere that better suits your needs.

As a dog parent, I would like to share my unfortunate experience at Sydney Pet Resort. My dog Lola was boarding there during holidays and when we brought her home we noticed that she has multiple wounds in all of her legs. I immediately contacted the staff and I was told that during a play time she was bitten by another dog; apparently, they were playing rough and the game turned into a fight. We all know that accidents can happen but this are my concerns: 1) the staff should break any rough game before it turns into a fight, dog safety should come first, 2) There was a lack of transparency since the incident was never brought to our attention at any 3) she has so many different wounds in her legs that is hard to believe that all this happen in a single incident, maybe she was attacked during the night, when she was sharing rooms without supervision. On top of that, they didn't feed her correctly, they gave her food outside of her diet without knowing that she is an allergic dog under a restricted diet. I am extremely disappointed on how Sydney Pet Resort treated my dog and very sad to think that Lola was under those conditions for almost a month.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for our business, were sorry to hear your experience with us was negative. As discussed over the phone & via SMS, Lola was an absolute pleasure to mind & had a lovely stay with us. As noted in our departure health check which includes 20 high resolution photos of each individual body part, she had 3 superficial scratches on her leg that were sustained during play & didnt require veterinary treatment however they were cleaned & sprayed with antiseptic spray & healed well. I apologise that my staff member did not talk to you about the scratches on departure, it is our procedure to discuss this. Were sad & surprised that you would write a one star review over this when her month long stay with us was a very positive experience as you knew from our regular facebook photos & frequent SMS messages to you whilst you were overseas. She was healthy & happy during her stay & she certainly wasnt mistreated in any way. I wish you all the best in finding a kennel that better suits yours & Lolas needs.
