Properly Good Coffee. That should be enough. A simple hole in the wall coffee shop tucked into the edge of the Doherty's Gym. Open early, consistently good. I am happy to walk out of my way and cross Flinders Street past half a dozen other cafes to get a caffeine fix in the morning.

Approximate cost: $4

Another amazing use of space in a hidden train vault. The original arch of the vault is still visible and as the train passes by leaving Flinders station you feel as if its going to pull in to the vault for repairs. The back wall has been cleverly dubbed "The Royalty Wall", a decorative and inventive way to keep track of your coffee tally. Get to 10 and the coffee is on T-Roy.Get 50 and be throned with a cute little badge that looks every bit part of my attire. Hes a freindly warm barista without the attitude that seemingly overtakes experienced and talented baristas. And this young coffee guru has people hanging on every last drop in the cup. Hes been there 1 week and the walls are filled with coffee fanatics. Certainly the finest cup this end of town. Great place to hide and watch the city awake. T-Roy Browns: the finest coffee in town!
