Thanks to passionate and knowledgeable teachers, the student services are just as good, or better, than you'll find at regular salons. I have been having my hair done at Tafe for many years and find the cuts for my wavy hair better there than at salons that promote curly cuts. The prices are also rock bottom for all services.

You have to book and have a very supervised student to do your hairstyle in a class that they are operating. It may take 3 hours to have your hair cut- washed/cut/dried and straightened or set, and only in particular time slots. A common fault with all hairdressers....is that long hair wearers who want just a little off, get charged a long hair cost, whilst a short hair wearer may have quite a bit of layering an d styling, and get a cheaper cut. The problem is common everywhere though. Perhaps they ought to weigh what they take off and charge accordingly.
