This Indian restaurant has lots of varieties to choose from either its entrees or main courses. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian both get plenty of choices with a reasonable price. The banquet can be good choices if you are going at four.

I have been to 5 indian restaurants in the past month and always order butter chicken as this is my favourite indian main course and I must say that I was very disappointed with the butter chicken at this restaurant. The taste was bland and salty and lacked the creamy taste to what butter chicken should be. The rice did not taste fresh. Customer service, however, was great and the waiters there were very welcoming. Having great customer service is one thing but having good food is another. I am sorry to say that this is my least favourite indian restaurant and it's the first time I have left an indian restaurant not finishing even half my food.

The food didn't taste good at all. I've been to a lot of better Indian restaurants before and this is definitely not one of the good ones. I ordered the butter chicken and one of the vegetarian dishes. Both of which were oddly seasoned and tasted very weird. The garlic naan however was very soft and delicious. The rice was the worst - was hard and had a weird taste to it, was obvious that it definitely wasn't fresh, and was over due.customer service was great however, staff very friendly. The food extremely pricey, and serving sizes small. Wasn't full after the main meal. Wouldn't come again

Food was beautiful and service was good. Unpleasant to have an early dinner while listening to the owner tearing strips off someone (waiter/family member) for a good 10 minutes!! Bathrooms need upgrading. Restaurant has great atmosphere.

Wonderful resturant with a great atmosphere in the city. Really enjoyed our visit here and the best location for popping to a movie or event afterwards. Great food too!

I love Indian food. I know my Indian food. This place is the bomb. Chilled out mouth-watering meals- get them to share and save a few bucks. Modern but warm.

Taj Tandoor has a wonderful spread of authentic and Western-adapted cuisine. They don't hold back on the heat (if you like your food really spicy, then this is the place for you!), and just about everything I've eaten there has been of very good quality. The service can be rather slow (poor coordination between waiting staff), but that could have been a one off, so I wouldn't judge them based solely on that. Reasonably priced considering the Rundle Street location, would visit again.
