I recently experienced a Dell laptop failure. The machine wouldn't boot up. I took the machine to Andy who advised me that he would investigate the problem and that there would be no charge for the diagnosis. Andy then proceeded to pull the machine apart identifying the problem as a faulty cover on the power switch. The fault was corrected. This operation took well over an hour due to a multitude of fiddly little screws holding everything together. On completion I asked again what I owed and Andy replied again, "no charge for the diagnosis". I believe that this is great customer service. I can highly recommend Andy's business to anyone within the district having PC issues. Many thanks, I'll be back.

We struggle with all things tech!!! Called Andy with our issue and told us just to drop in. Helped us out straight away. Even stayed past closing time to take care of us!!! So friendly and helpful. Noticed straight away we had no virus protection that we had been paying for!!! Helped out with iPhone (sad I know) and serviced and updated our computer which now works amazingly and told us to call any other problems!!!

I rated Tame your Computer 5 stars because I was very impressed with the service,
Last month my laptop was not working at all and I rushed it in thinking that I would be without a laptop for a while and up for a hit in the back pocket.
I was WRONG.
I arrived and was asked if I had the time to wait a couple of minutes while they looked at it to see if they could establish what the problem was.
They pulled it apart in front of me then tested and played around for about 10 minutes found the problem and fixed it then and there.
To top it off it was at no cost as it was a quick and simple fix. (for them, not me).
Other Computer places would not even look at it without charging me up to $100 and they hadn't even touched it.

Last week I needed help with my computer. Andy had put team viewer on my computer so he could fix from anywhere and once again I needed it. Rang him at 7.30 am and on and off all day he was sorting out the problem and installing windows 10. At 7.10 pm the last scan finally finished and it’s running like a beauty. Thank you once again. We had a problem with our CPU overheating, causing the computer to shut down without any warning. Andy was very prompt with service, looking at our computer straightaway. Through process of elimination Andy resolved the problem and the computer has been working perfectly ever since.

We originally bought this computer from Tame that Computer 3 years ago and have been dealing with Andy for about 10 years now. We cannot fault his service or knowledge of computers and highly recommend him. Andy keeps it simple for you to understand and any costs are always more than reasonable.

Best computer service anywhere. I have bought two computers from Andy and have regular annual services. Nothing is a bother to Andy and he has given true and honest advice when ever sought. Absolutely excellent customer service, great value and they're bloody quick too. Built me an absolutely wonderful gaming PC in two days, and nearly 200 bucks under the original quote. I'd recommend these guys without hesitation, their motto basically says it all.

Tame That Computer is best described as having exemplary service towards both its customers and people who just walk into the shop with a question regarding their computer or laptop.

I live a hour away from the shop and so Andy using TeamViewer is a Godsend when it comes to a rapid resolution of any of my mistakes.

Also I needed what I call a ‘kick ass” computer, something with grunt and Andy had it built, running and ready for pick up in less than 48 hours and kept the cost down by recycling perfectly good parts from my outgrown computer.

There is nothing more satisfying than having a computer that’s fast, powerful and can handle the workload.
