After playing put put golf, we all visited this bakery and enjoyed a light lunch here. Plenty of seating, both indoor and outside. Parking here too. Great milkshakes and coffee too as well as a very good selection of savoury and sweet items.

Very clean and cosy bakery. We stopped there a few times on the way to the Barossa. They have a good selection of foods, and really enthusiastic service. We went on the Saturday afternoon and the bakery was full and there are still quite a few people queuing. I ordered a Chai late and stake and mushroom pie, hubby ordered a Cappuccino and a chicken roll. We ordered a strawberry tart each as deserts. The service was really quick and the food was yummy! Surely deserves a five star.

This is a very neat and clean bakery. I assume it has been recently refurbished, because it looks very modern and new.
There is a long service area along the front, with big glass counters displaying their produce, including premade rolls, wraps etc. that all looked very tempting. Behind this was a sit-down cafe area. Looked quite comfortable and busy, with a lot of people sitting down in this area. There is also a shaded area outside at the front with about 5 or 6 tables and seating if you want to sit outside.
I had a chicken and lettuce roll, on a really nice multigrain seeded roll and a streudel bun, that contained a good quantity of real fruit plus a Nippys juice for $14.30. The roll was about $7.30, the pastry $3.75, so that would make the drink $3.25. So, I guess this is about average prices for a bakery nowadays.
All very tasty. A lot of people coming and going. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. So, overall, pretty good, would happily eat here again.

Wow - what a huge selection. We purchased some delicious cakes for afternoon tea. While were sitting at the window eating our gelati the traffic in and out was substantial, which goes to show that it is a great popular bakery. Will revisit when in the Barossa.

Excellent bakery with a very wide range of baked treats! My favourite is their apple and custard scroll, mmm. It has a nice little outdoor sitting area for people who want to sit ad eat their lunch, ample parking. Will be good to see what it looks like after their extensive renovations that are currently going ahead...

Beautiful baked goods, excellent selection. Very easy access and good parking. Gets very busy. Love all of the fresh baked breads on offer. An extra staff member in busy times would be good, to keep up with the customers.

A busy little bakery, but for good reason! Beautiful, delicious products and wonderful service. I love their pasties, the apricot strueselbuns, and the gelati in summer is to die for. A top quality bakery, which we always visit when in the Barossa (whether we're hungry or not!)

Brilliant, brilliant food. They have such lovely hot and cold food, and now make gelati as well. They have everything from the usual doughnuts and pies, to the more German items like Vollkornbrot. The service is lovely, even though they are always very busy.

I love the pies and pasties from Tanunda Bakery - they have so much to choose from. Unfortunately some times during lunch times, they get quite busy and don't seem to have enough girls serving behind the counter. If you don't mind waiting for an extra few minutes though, you will certainly get a smile with the service. The hot chocolates are great too and to be able to eat outside under their enclosed umbrellas with the heating is outstanding too.
