Recently went into the Telstra Shop in Airport West and was appalled at the customer service (or lack thereof). The two sales assistants were talking about their manager in a negative way and when i asked to purchase a SIM card they were unwilling to leave their conversation. They said they couldnt ID me as account was in husbands name and said i wasnt authorised (which i am!) Luckily hubby came and sorted it out - but as i walked out i definately saw them snickering to each other. As i left i also saw an elderly man being spoken too in a rather rude and harsh manner.

My phone stopped working. Sent it off to be fixed (under warantee) and was told I would received a call when it was fixed.
Received no such call. Called after almost 3 weeks and was told it was in store ready to collect. When I got it back I saw that it had been ready for collect 2 days after I dropped it off. NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME. Unfriendly staff, have better things to do than serve customers it seems.

I am on pre paid and still getting best mobile service. They also have good deal for the top up credit, like 30 dollars which expires in 3 months , it is very affordable and useful for me.

The best mobile coverage that rarely lets me down. The contract gives me a lot of freedom to make calls as needed without guilt of breaking budget. Also bundling my products hopeful reduces costs further

When I rang to connect a phone to my new house Telstra told me they would send someone out. We were sent a letter to tell us that we would have to wait 3 weeks because there was no phone lines left in my street. This then turned into 3 months which turned into 4 plus months. Everytime I rang they would tell me it would be done or could not find my job. I rang the ombudsman but they did not see that as any reason to help me with my situation any faster. I run a business from home and each day I would drive 15 km to get faxes and use the internet. In the end I got a phone line and $100.00 for my inconvenience - It was a struggle to get the $100.00. Then they put me on a high plan which i did not ask for. and had to pay the first month. The joys of Telstra.

Called into a Telstra Shop for a new connection, was moving house. All good till they told me that would be either $300 or $59 for a connection, 300 if they had to 'dig' or 59 if one was already there, which there was. They would let me know if it was to be 300 before they did anything. Turns out was 59. Shock horror when I got bill for way over $300. Trying to sort things out over phone, got me nowhere, so I went to the Telstra Shop and they sorted it out. I got a credit for the difference. Not sure if I would go Telstra again, but since all go through Telstra ????

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON PRE PAID WITH SO ONE DAY I JUST SIGHNED UP TO A PLAN AND IT ALWAYS WORKED OUT CHEAPER AND THE PHONE I GOT WAS JUST WHAT I WANTED

Telstra rang us and asked if we were happy with our services. Said no and wanted to go onto a capped mobile plan. All ok and put thru or so we thought. The next bill arrived and it was HUGE!Rang telstra and was on the phone to them for 45min trying to sort it out and they said there was no record of it in the system. Eventurally it was sorted and we were credited for their mistake
