Took our kids there...ages 7, 4 and 1 and they had a great time.
The staff were attentive without being too 'in your face' and our waitress, Sam was helpful and sincere. I wanted to feed our 1 year old his own meal which Sam took away to be warmed for me. It came back on little plate, perfectly warmed and ready to go.
The two older boys had the chicken tenders/chips and the cheeseburger/chips and the Oreo milk shake and the peanut butter/fudge milk shake and they were both very impressed!!
My Mum and I both had the Chicken tender BLT which was huge and very tasty...it's not really healthy food but honestly, if you're looking for organic lentil and tofu salads then you'd be stupid to walk into TGI's in the first place...it's sometimes food, you know that because it tastes so good lol.
The soft drinks were refilled for 'free' and the wait staff did a great job ensuring they held their end of the deal by refilling drinks promptly.
TGI's has a great atmosphere, it's welcoming and friendly and it's a great place to catch up with friends and/or take the kids for a no fuss meal.
The cost for 2 adults meals, bottomless drinks, 2 childrens meals, 2 shakes was around $70.00...not cheap but then cheaper and better than the rubbish they churn out at the 'entertainment venues' with play centres masquerading as pubs these days.
We'll definitely go back.

For simple meals I have to say Im quite diappointed with TGI's - it doesn't live up to its name. The service is quite slow just to put your order in and when it's in expect to get a good couple of drinks in in between. Meals seem to be chucked on a plate and are quite expensive for what they really are. Drinks are also a bit on the dear side. Staff seem more interested in catching up with one another than really helping the average family out!

Great place to take the kids, value for money meals, good service. Children well looked after with balloons, crayons and kids menu. Also soft drinks refilled at no extra cost

Approximate cost: $20

Yes I know it's cheesy and it's certainly not trendy BUT this is a great place to take the kids. We often meet here with friends who have children too, and we always have a great time. They give the kids balloons and they don't mind how much noise or mess they make. The bill is always a bit steeper than you think it will be, but the little ones always request that we go back and we leave feeling pretty happy.

Went there for my son's birthday because he requested it, but frankly was very disappointed, not good value for money. Margarita cost $14.95 but had hardly any tequila in it. Don't know how this sort of place can survive when there are so many good low cost restaurants in the area.

Approximate cost: $20

Actually in 2008 that Margaritas were around $12 and contain 1 1/2 standard drinks, it would be irresponsible service of alcohol to put any more in a drink of that size.

Had been going to TGI a few time and although the experience was not great kept going back. The service and the quality of the food seemed to slip but the final straw was when the cut back the serving sizes. Just plain cost cutting.

Good service, always looking to refill your drink. Very expensive with the burgers often being cooked poorly and the meat isnt the best. Not a bad place but wouldn't rush back there. I think the employees try a bit too hard to make sure your comfortable, with them always looking over your shoulder it is hard to enjoy a meal.

Approximate cost: $15

I personally didnt enjoy much about this place, sure the food is ok, but horrible for you. I guess they know that though. The place is in a bad place in the shopping center and the staff were not very nice to me. wont re visit

I have really enjoyed TGI Fridays every time i've been. The staff are always really friendly, the food is fantastic - especially the nachos and the burgers. It's a fun experience although not so crash hot for vegetarians!
