Located in a gorgeous restored firehouse in the heart of Ringwood, the decor is on point. Although slightly squishy, it's a great family spot or Sunday cafe. Food is great although up on the price point. My husband wasn't thrilled with the meal sizing but I thought it was fine.
little gem in ringwood, when my girlfriend and i want to treat ourselves, this is one of the places we go. because its the old ringwood firestation it has a great atmosphere and a few different rooms. the staff are very proper and very nice. the food isnt on the cheaper side, but when treating yourself it isnt over the top. it is presented very nicely and never have to wait too long. the menu is more broad than most places around ringwood. all in all its a bit of a gem in ringwood

Great get together for a tapas night or a girls lunch. Service is excellent, even have a meeting room that can be booked for a work luncheon. The atmosphere is amazing being in the old firehouse and heaps of parking at the back.
My colleagues and I often come here. One of the best restaurants in outer eastern Melbourne. Really yummy food, great service, above average prices. Food was delicious and quite diverse. Staff attentive, friendly and not overly pushy. The polenta chips - to die for and the home made focaccia comes with fine quality olive oil and black salt.
This restaurant is a step above most of those in the outer east - the decor, service, food and prices. The food is yummy, while a bit fancy, not ridiculously pretentious. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed it each time. For us, this is a celebration or special meal kinda place.
Always fantastic seasonal food and outstanding customer service.
Very creative and delicious meals, good portion sizes.
Definitely at the top of their league for the area.

This is a lovely little restaurant, and delivers the cake for the local community. Starting first with atmosphere, the restaurant is located in an old converted firehouse (feels more like a country chalet though) with decor such as fire bells and helmets as decor. Prices are reasonable, not cheap nor exorbitant. I liked the fact that they didn't use the remote factor to hike up prices and take advantage of people.
The menu offered interesting options such as onion churros with paprika rouille and smoked duck spring rolls with kewpie mayo. Desserts were also great. Much more than an after thought which is what it usually is with suburban restaurants -a boring cake, ice or mousse option. Here we chose a Lime Creme Brûlée with light sable biscuits, and a Passionfruit Souffle with coconut sorbet. Definitely much more than 'menu fillers' they were great desserts.
I had a lovely experience at the Firehouse. Just goes to show that there are gems in the woods!
Went to The Firehouse just for drinks and thought it was a great place to sit and chat.
Comfy couches, good service from pleasant staff and they didn't mind how long we were there for
The Firehouse is a venue with a difference. Had brekky there with my husband, great service, lovely food (many 'different' things on the menu). As also reviewed, there are lots of rooms, so finding the perfect spot for your function would be a breeze. There is also ample parking at the rear so you can park away from busy Maroondah Hwy.
