The Fitz is a Melbourne institution that provides great gourmet meals on the South West Corner of Brunswick and Kerr streets in Fitzroy. We, at The Fitz, serve breakfast from 7am to 4pm, lunch from 11am to 4pm and dinner from 4pm. Have cosy dinners by the open fire during winters, or dine under the Plain Tree, we, at The Fitz, will ensure you’ll get the best dining experience. We cater to everyone and guarantee you’ll get the best you deserve.

WHY CHOOSE THE FITZ?

No need to wait very long for your meals. Chit chat and enjoy our location’s ambience as we have an average wait of 5-15 minutes.
We are easily accessible. Tram Route 112 runs straight past our door. Also, Tram 96 can drop you at the corner of Kerr and Nicholson streets where you can have a short stroll to Burnswick Street.
We have parking spaces available. Though it is limited, there’s a ticketed car park right near by!
You can reserve and make bookings. Our schedules for bookings are any night of the week, midweek only for breakfast or lunch.
The Fitz have friendly staff, great honest fare and terrific value.
We serve Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner 7 days a week from 7am til late.

When in Melbourne this place is a must. any day any time 7am -11pm. morning breaky, brunch lunch and dinner. excellent food great service. the desserts are the best. u must try the Frangelico Mousse, unbelivable

OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER. THEY ARE RENOWNED FOR THEIR WEEKEND BREAKFAST. VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE AND THE FOOD IS GREAT (ALSO CATER TO VEGETARIAN).

This is one of my favourite places to go for brunch. I used to live nearby but unfortunately its now quite a long drive - but still worth it!! I always have the fruit pancakes - 3 fat pancakes topped with a berry / fruit compote, icecream and maple syrup - mmmmm. It's got a great atmosphere too. A fireplace for winter mornings and outdoors areas for times when its warm. They also do a full lunch and dinner menu although I haven't tried this (the menu looks good though).
