AN interesting place, mix of cafe and old style mixed shop. Coffee was good though

Long Jetty is fast becoming the alternative heart of the Central Coast, and the Glass Onion Society Café as one of its prominent landmarks. I visited here at lunchtime recently and found the café crowded with a young and stylish clientele. I ordered the "Avolanche" (basically Avocado Toast with tomatoes and cheese) from the all-day breakfast and a chocolate milkshake. Neither was particularly sensational. The staff were friendly though, and it looks like a good place to hang out.

It never feels like I am walking into a cafe in this place. Selling second hand goods and artworks means I always get to look at something new when I walk in. Then comes the great service and the terrific coffee and great meals. I always enjoy my time at this cafe.

A very unique coffee experience. You walk in feeling like you've stepped back in time. There were 9 of us coming in for a coffee and late breakfast. Very friendly staff who assisted us in moving tables together so we could all sit together and the food was pretty good too. Very reasonably priced apart from the banana bread at $6! But I think it was organic.
Recommend for a Sunday morning.

The glass onion is one of my favourite places to go and in my opinion has the best coffee on the coast. Great retro feel right down to the kitsch collectors teaspoons. They make a mean toastie too.

This is such a wonderful cafe/op shop/art space/secondhand bookstore. This has everything you could hope for! With local artists displaying their art on the walls and op shop with great vintage items. They sell everything from used clothes to shoes to leather handbags. This is a delightful indie style cafe.
