I went here to get two of my watch batteries replaced. The price was reasonable ($10 each). However after it was replaced, I noticed the hour hand on one watch was fast. i.e. at 10:05, the hour hand would be in between the 10 and 11 instead of just past the 10. This was definitely not the case before I replaced the battery, and the battery on this watch had only been dead for less than a month.

He insisted that he only replaced the battery and did not have access to the other functions, which I tried to understand. However, this was not an issue less than a month ago. Prior to getting the battery replaced, it sat on my dresser untouched. So what other conclusion can I draw?

My other watch now does not work. I concede that this may be an issue with the watch itself, before the battery replacement, although I did not notice any issues previously.

But the possible 2 out of 2 issues for the watches does not bode well. Am very frustrated.

This place is great for getting keys cut ~$5 per key and repairing your shoes or boots. Steve did a wonderful job on a pair of my boots. He replaced the soles and heels so they feel absolutely brand new!

I dropped off two pairs of shoes in terrible condition, both with holes right through the soles. I didn't think they could be saved! However, on returning just a day later, both pairs were repaired beautifully. I'm just so impressed and pleased. Bad experience ... I came to shorten my new shoes high heel, [redacted due to personal identifier] quickly grap them saying to check out if they can be done, then come back with a price which i don't agree to go with. Then he said he can't put the shoe back to it orgirinal condition and he forces me pay to put it back to what it was when i brought the shoes over ... waste of time and money for nothing

I needed a key made for an original BMW lock for a pannier I bought on ebay. I had also accidentally locked it trying to pull the barrel out. I took it to another local locksmith who had it for a week and couldn't unpick it. I took it to Keystop at Forges West Footscray and he unpicked it while I was watching. The barrel still wouldn't come out so I left it with them and a few hours later I got the call that my lock and key was ready. I do not know the friendly gentleman's name who did the work but I will refer to him from now on as Houdini (master of locks and keys)

Unbelievably good service with a smile. Had knives sharpened, car and house keys cut within 20 minutes of dropping them off and very well priced. Highly recommended.

On a recommendation we went to The Keystop to have keys cut for an old style lock. No other locksmith had been successful but Ray had our keys cut quickly and successfully and at the fraction of the cost of previous attempts. A true professional that has extensive knowledge.

Ray is one of the friendliest people I have met in a while. Very helpful and easy to deal with. Knows how to keep the customer happy. I was referred to him by a few people after I had received a quote of $50 to fix my clock. Ray only charged me $10.
