Not usually in this area, found restaurant on Internet and lucky to get a table. Menu reminded us of places we went in the 80's but food was fresh, perfectly cooked and presented and full of wonderful flavours. Lovely and attentive staff.

Yes, This on of the Best All Round restaurants that I and my family have found. It is not pretentious, but the service, food and value are exemplary.
It is difficult to rate it highly enough, and this is not just as the result of one visit; we've eaten there countless times, both as a family and to entertain friends when it's "our turn"
Gary and the Crew there are so consistent; seems like they've been there for decades (they have!) yet the standard never varies

the manse is perfect for all very well set out with alot of food choices they cater for all sorts of diet requirements such as gluten free dairy free it is very kid friendly they also have the option for private parties bookings required when I went we had the vegetarian delight was amazing packed with flavour and the Mushroom & Bacon Crepe was so good prices were really good as well

My family and I had a very enjoyable evening ! The food exceeded our expectations and our two kids enjoyed their meals along with jelly and ice cream and baby chinos .the service was fantastic an overall very enjoyable evening and we will definately be back soon :-) Thankyou Jodie

Our party of seven was served with extreme professionalism, friendliness and timely manner. The meals where of exceptional standard, quality, freshness and presentation was very well done. The atmosphere was relaxing and allowed for conversation as people where not packed in like sardines with the usual gabble of others interrupting or drowning it out.

We took two friends to Manse to thank them sincerely for helping us out. They had not been to the Manse before. We have been many times and once again had the BEST service and food. We asked for a quiet spot and were given a nice corner in a small room. The service included filling our glasses with water when lower. We had cloth napkins placed on our lap expertly by the waitress. Everything was exceptional right from our seating to the paying of the final bill. A wonderful first experience for our friends and a great experience again for us!

As always the service is excellent. It is BYO which we prefer as we have our own favorite wines... plus there is no corkage.. how refreshing is that. The Leek, asparagus and goats cheese filo tart was to die for. Great value for your money and the serves are generous.

The Manse Restaurant has friendly staff that provide great service, and good value, high quality food. I've also attended functions where the Manse have provided the catering, which has always been top notch.

I have always loved having a meal at the manse - it has been there for as long as i can remember and the food is always great. We had a set menu for valentines day and it was very tasty especially the salmon & choccy mousse!!! but i missed the oysters!!! thanks to all the staff - wonderful job.

We've been dining at "The Manse" on and off for the last 15 years, and we can't speak too highly of the place. The restaurant comprises three rooms in a converted cleric's residence. Linen tablecloths and napkins, well groomed and charming serving staff, and a very well priced menu - all items we have sampled have been delicious. The owner - Gary - works behind the scenes but likes to chat with diners should the chance present itself.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our original catering company turned around at the last minute and stated they could not cater our wedding reception. Broken hearted, we frantically looked for a new venue and caterer with only nine weeks till the big day. Our fiends recommended The Manse Restaurant in Armadale and after meeting Clare, we were amazed at how accommodating they were for all requests in such a short time span. It must not have been easy for them to provide answers to all the crazy demands of a very stressed out soon to be husband and wife. The Manse Restaurant, on the day provided great food, great service and an absolutely memorable night that neither of us will forget.

My wife and I have eaten at the Manse many times although when we dined there on17/11/2011 it had been about 6 years since the previous time. We were not dissapointed and the food service and value for money was as good as it had ever been.

Moved back into the area after 9 years away. Delighted that Gary was still there and the food and service is the same or even better than 9 years ago. Well done all. We had an excellent 36 year anniversary dinner. Thank you.

I have been there twice now and no disappointments at all. The pricing is great with 3 courses for $60 option making it easy.
