Friendly staff, massive portion, lots of options for all tastes. Good location, needs a bit of a decor update, but that's part of the charm of the place. Had a traditional lemonade and it was fantastic.

Pancake parlour is a fun place to take kids but I wouldn't recommend it for anything else. The menu is pretty pricey for not very big serves and service can be lacking in speed. That being said my son and nephew love to go here and it's a great treat for them. The giant chess set and carnival mirrors keep them out of trouble and let me sit and have a quiet coffee while they entertain themselves. The sweet pancakes are good but the savoury options can be disappointing in flavour.

This is a great place for pancakes. The food is actually pretty decent for the price you pay. The place is small but cosy. I live in Adelaide but have been here on holiday. Would be good if it was open later than 10pm.

Food is good, but service was a bit slow. It's one of those places you tend to here exaggerated things about...but it is a nice place to catch up with your family/friends once in awhile.

Pancake Parlour is one of those places that's been around forever. It's rarely your first choice, but it's never a terrible experience. In Canberra, the main draw-card is that it's open so late. The food is decent, the service is fine, but don't head in expecting the most amazing experience!

Pancake Parlour is one of the most overrated restaurant in Canberra. The service is horribly slow (once, they took 45 minutes to serve a stack of pancakes), the food is not value for money (though the portions are quite huge). They do have a dendy deal where you can get a stack for pancakes and a ticket for $15 which is quite a good deal. Other than that, I normally would not dine at Pancake Parlour.

Approximate cost: $20

I have been to plenty of Pancake Parlours, particularly in Melbourne, but I'm not the biggest fan of the Pancake Parlour in Civic. While I usually enjoy the quality of the pancakes, even if they can sometimes appear to cost more than they are worth, my last experience definitely put me off revisiting the Canberra restaurant again. The last time I dined there, I ordered a lemon lime and bitters only to find out that they had run out of bitters and then a soy chai latte to find out that they didn't actually provide soy at all. I left with my friend soon after.

The movie & pancake deal is great- such good value! I always forget how filling pancakes are, so I order way too much, but it's delicious nonetheless. Great when you're in the mood for breakfast for dinner as well.

It was a nice dining experience. The service was a bit slow but there is a great range of pancake dishes to chose from. They also serve main meals as well, but they tend to be a little disappointing and not that good value in comparison with the pancakes. The drinks are good value as well. The atmosphere is nice (probably due to the slightly dated feel of the place) and is great for a cosy meal with friends .

Approximate cost: $15
