I have just spent my granddaughters birthday at the Pancake Parlour and the food was lovely and the service was great but the PRICE !!!! OMG I have never felt more RIPPED OFF in my life. It was bad enough paying $30 for a few chicken strips but paying $10 for 470mm of postmix Pepsi is just DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. How can you rip us off like this? It was hard enough to pay high meal prices in this economy but really, im pretty sure the glass would have only cost you a few cents. And then just to add salt to the wound, you charged a 15% surcharge because we came in on a Saturday !!!!! Shame on you Pancake Parlour Shame

I've come here a few times, it was the place my g/f's and i would meet up. Last time we were there i was still a student and they have a discounted menu for students. i ordered my meal off there which was buttermilk pancakes with bacon and eggs but i also ordered a side of blueberries.
The meal was delicious, but when we came up to pay, my side of blueberries that was only a small handfull cost me an extra $9!! they could tell i was very upset with the price of the blueberries so they must have felt bad and given me heaps of 'buy one get one free' coupons.
will not be going back there again.

Approximate cost: $27

I absolutely love coming to this place. The food is great, yummy and fairly priced. The staff are always lovely, always. Never had a bad experience here. Always busy but can usually get a table if you don't have a booking. Fantastic place!

Love going here for dinner. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is filling but light and so delicious. Prices are also good. And they have a huge variety to choose from. I did have their hot chocolate which was far too rich for me. Love the food though.

Approximate cost: $15-29

As with any Pancake Parlour, the food was a good quality. But as they were busy, the service was lacking, yet at the same time, we also felt very rushed out of there so they could get turn over the table. Would be worth going back when they're not packed.

Approximate cost: $22

We have stopped here a few times on the way home, as our 6 y/o loves the pancakes. But we find it very expensive for what you get, we only had 2 adult savory pancakes, a kids meal, cottage potatoes & 3 drinks & it was over $80. I nearly fell over...the lady who sat us was not very helpful, we asked for some crayons and paper but she never came back...eventually someone else brought them over after we asked again. We just assumed since the kids menu is on the paper mats they give to kids, and we had kids with us, she'd be right back...so overall, nice food but much cheaper to go to a pub that has a playground to keep kids entertained. And we found the wooden high chairs very unsafe, not even a strap to strap them into...which made eating a meal with a squirming 18 month old hard!

The cheese + potato pancake is an unexpected favourite! I never understood the concept of savoury pancakes, until I discovered this! My only recommendation would be to offer it in an entree size all day, not just during the day on weekdays (when I am at work!). The cottage fries are absolutely sensational.
