Lots of different and intersting pies to choose from. All fresh and high quality. Service is excellent and they even have drive-through if you're feeling lazy!

We have had food here a few times. They have a huge range and some unique flavours. We really didnt enjoy the crocodile pie but some of the more traditional meat pies are yummy.

We enjoyed a meal at The Pie Shed yesterday. Unlike the previous review that l read, our experience was a delight. My husband enjoyed his crocodile pie meal, mine was a delicious bacon & cheese pie, as I am not as adventurous as he is. We finished with a vanilla slice, which is our signature cake for afternoon tea, which we always buy at local bakeries when on fishing trips together. The slice was to die for - easily the lightest smoothest creamiest vanilla slice we have ever had - and we have enjoyed a few! While my husband was happy with his pot of tea, he's a sweetie, l had a lovely deliciously HOT - which is rare, mug of Chai late, which finished off a lovely meal, in a clean restaurant with natty colonial decor. - while l will not hesitate to go again, or take friends there for a keenly priced and tasty meal, the experience was slightly marred by the customer seated at the table beside me. A woman with her family, who had enough experience with her previous children to know better, asked if there was a nappy change area, in this small restaurant. In my day such rooms didn't exist until they started to emerge when l had my last child. On the seldom occasions that we went to functions or restaurants with the children, it was no hardship to go out to the car to feed or change children. - the Pie Shed is surrounded by car park, and the weather was ideal for this time of the year, sunny and quite pleasant. On being told that a change room was not available, she proceeded to change the child's nappy right beside me as l ate my lunch - would she change the child at the dining table at home if she had guests? I think not. What is wrong with these people. I fed all my children including twins, privately in the car, while my husband entertained the other kids. What is wrong that these women to have no sense of decorum or common decency when out in public? Are they frightened of missing out on something or just exhibitionists? If the staff had approached this woman and asked her to desist from what she was doing just for hygienic reasons alone, we would never have heard the end of it in the media, as others rush to support her right to do toilet changes right beside other customers. The staff are caught somewhere between a rock and a hard place. That being said, the rest of our culinary experience was very pleasant indeed, and l can't believe we had not been there before this. Fair dinkum, those vanilla slices were unbelievable!!!

Approximate cost: $30ish??

The service here is great, the restaurant itself is well maintained and very cute in design and theme. Unfortunately, the pie's are just not quite there wjich sort of defeats the purpose. We were excited to try the crocodile pie and another pie (Can't quite remember). The other was of standard edible quality, but the crocodile pie was horrible. two chunks of meat and the rest a slimy and unpleasant sauce. It was just rubbish. I ignored the restaurant for quite some time but as my son attends daycare next door, decided to break a note and buy a cupcake. Once again inedible :( It was dry and the creamed frosting just yuck. The only thing that seemed alright was some hot chips that I purchased whilst racing for a bus one day when I hadn't had time to eat.

Approximate cost: $15

Have been to this pie shop many times and i rate it fairly highly. The cheese and bacon sausages rolls are my favourite but they can vary in taste a moderate amount, as can the pies. Although some could argue that this shows a true home-style type of recipe that is never 100% the same. The pies aren't bad either. They used to have a loyalty program where you'd get a free pie or similar every few visits but i don't think that exists any more. Overall friendly staff, decent food.

Chicken, mushroom and Camembert pies are awesome! Not a fan of their beef based pies though. They do make a mean cheese and bacon sausage roll and they do make pretty good sweets too!

We tried this place as it is a bit of a novelty to be able to drive through a bakery. Now we keep going back. Love their sausage rolls. Pies are good too. Great prices, great service. Fantastic to grab a quick lunch without getting little kids in and out of car seats.

Approximate cost: $2.50
